There's a very good reason for that. It's not because they lack some sort of leader to help them negotiate, it's because each party has its own opinions and refuse to compromise. Hezballah want to satisfy Iran and Syria, Hairi and Jumblaat want to satisy America. Each party has been given specific instructions from these countries to be relentless and only settle for what they want. Ultimately, there will be no victor as they shall continue to talk on without even bothering to listen. This is the biggest problem we are facing, everyone talks, no one listens.
You're spot on in most things you've said.

But we need to to acknowledge that 14march isn't supported by the United States for no reasons. It's very simple, the day Syria and Iran will stop financing Hezbollah, automatically 14march will stop going on the same Track States is going.

It's just normal to be supported by States when Iran is financing Hezbollah and Hezbollah is nothing but a toy in their hands. The day they stop following the Tehran rules and defend only the 10452km then I'd be the first one to criticize and bash anyone who supports other foreign policy.

I absolutely agree. I too want this nonesense of everyone having his own weapons to end. It's ridiculous. However, we may never come to this in reality.
Everything has an end in this world. No matter how powerful you are, you'll still fall down. Hezbollah will fall down, but they can still fall down in a pride not in a Militia way.

Hezballah are still very cautious of Israel. I think they should give their weapons to our army, however, it's not that simple. We all know who is better trained for a potential battle against Israel and it's not our army. The only way Lebanon can ever beat Israel in war is through a Militia style warfare. Hezballah can do that, the army can't. Regardless, I still don't think it's right to have a militant group inside this country that is stronger than the army. It means Hezballah can do whatever the fuck they want in Lebanon and no one can lay a finger of them.
Our Army are well trained, but they lack weapons and it's obvious. If Hezbollah really care about the country and about the Army and not Shi'aa, they would have joined the Army except that the orders comes from the General of the Army and not Hassan Nasrallah.

Againt, I also agree. There is never any justification for putting Lebanon in danger, never. A powerful person like Nasrallah has a huge responsibility and he should know that what he's doing is not the answer. I'm just saying that he hasn't been listened to for years and he's fed up.
Exactly. This is not the way to solve the problems.

You're not having it good with the Government fight it through politics, through pen, through voices, just like in any Democratic country around the world. Not in bombs with thugs and the dirty things.

You know what the next chapter will be, just because of the Shi'aa vs Sunni thing? Thats right, we're into the next Iraq.

Thank you Nasrallah for bringing the Qaeda whom are already in Lebanon to defend the so called Sunni thing. Thank you for creating hate between the two sects.

Good post.

A Sunni- Shi'aa conflict will tear this country apart although I don't think the Sunni's have the means to be able to fight against Hezballah.

I agree, Hezballah should join the army however, they won't because the army is ruled by the government and Hezballah are in massive disaccord with the government.

If they don't come to an agreement very soon, we may very well become the nzt Iraq, unfortunately. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to see Lebanon as a battlefield for the Americans and Iranians.

I'm sorry but after hearing the news after what these fucking Christians are doing, I have to go with Nasrallah here. I dont have names of people but whatever but this is what I've heard. Seriously, if you guys want Lebanon to be a puppet of American Democrats, it's your choice. Clearly, Nasrallah is a genious, and a religious one. It's that simple, if the people/Nasrallah want to talk first before putting the president in power, then it should be done, but if the Maronites want arrangements and the president to be put in power now, then it's not going to work.
Could you enlighten me and tell me what these Christians are doing without insulting them?

Plus in Lebanon we're not living in a jungle to listen to that religious man orders and obey them. There are things no body can really understand but the Lebanese.

Part of the parliament which arranged this idea deserved to be hanged, they don't have balls at all. Shiaa's are also in the parliament and deserve to veto any vote that is given to them, I stand my ground.
Seriously man, If you don't know the situation, keep it for someone else.

You know if there's one thing I'm impressed about you Lebanese it's that your love for you country never goes away. Everywhere I look during this conflict and conflicts in the past you are waving your flags. And despite your arguments with each other you all think of Lebanon.

I can't say the same for Pakistanis. If there's a conflict in Pakistan then there will be those who won't want anything to do Pakistan.

Kudos to you guys and Forza Lebanon.

You know now why I'm ashamed my friend? Thats right. Because when I left my house in Dahye running towards other areas, the Beiruti people welcomed us in a way i'll never forget.

Thats why I'm ashamed.

I see where you're coming from man. I agree, they shouldn't have acted this way against a city that welomed them with open arms. That's reality bro, they would throw all that away so they could have a higher say in things.

Btw, I heard Sleiman Frangieh say that he was ok with Sleiman becoming president. Do you think the Mu3arada have agreed on M.Sleiman?

Thanks Tahir:pint:

What you're saying is true. We all want what's best for Lebanon, our views and opinions might differ but our love for Lebanon is the same.

Thats true. It's incredible how much love and passion we have for our country, but sad each one has his diff view concerning the future of this country. But love is always love.

I heard that. The problem holds mostly with Michel Aoun here. Even more than Hezbollah. Michel Aoun still hopes for a place on that chair for him.

If he only gets over it and agree with Michel Sleiman then Hezbollah have no other choice but to agree.

Is any one listening to Senyoura's speech ??

:touched: .. really powerful ..
No matter how Pro Hezbollah supporters dislike him. He's the wisest politician in this country without any doubt.

I had tears listening to his speech today. What a diff between him and that religious guy. The religious guy only keeps talking about killing and they'll do this and that, while Sanioura today was asking all the Lebanese for a 1minute of silence to those whom lost their souls and to only hold a Lebanese flag:touched:

Rab, I can imagine how you felt .. because seriously after Mr. Al-Senyoura's speech was over I was shook inside, his words so powerful i was really moved .. I've been following the matter closely for few days now .. And he's totally right, all respects to Nasrallah and what he did against Israel, but I forever thought that HizbAllah's weapons exist only to resist attacks from Israel .. and nothing else .. Pointing them on fellow Lebanese has as much treachery as he claims everyone else has ..

I will try to stay neutral in that matter .. but I really can't figure why Nasrallah is so fussed about his weapons .. and I didn't catch on the communication network issue ?

PS. I remember in the Arabian summit when Al-Senyoura cried during his speach .. He's not only wise, but also more patriotic than many politician around the world ..

Christians, even though the minority have the upper hand in Lebanon, it's just wrong. After Siniora's speech, Nasrallah withdrew his armies from Beirut, doesn't it say something?

What ? It's true though.

He is fussed about his weapons because he had bought them (made those who support him buy them) and is not able to use them.
