By the way aren't they ALL meeting in with Sarkozy in Paris later this month or in July?

And Nasrallah, before the December "invasion" of Downtown Beirut, used to always call for Saad and March14 to meet, and they never answered either...
How did Nasrallah call Saad? by threating all 14march that he'll invade beirut and occupy it??? is that how you do things?

Hassan Nasrallah till now is invading his OWN country ffs, Beirut isn't Mazere3 Sheb3a.

You want to change the gov, there are 10's 10's of way to do that. Not occupy the capital, kill our economical season, send people back to home and not giving them a chance to work.

god, what a world we're living in.

Maybe a very small amount of people were disliking and fanatics when it comes to Sunni Shiiaa before Hariri got assasinated, but surely there was no talking or no hating between the sects like it is now.
Oh trust me, there was for a long time. I know how they live separated. The talks in the Universities, I remember at my first days in the university some guys were pointing at a group "these guys are Shi3is" one of them insulted him without any reason. I heard a lot of these man.

About sitting on one table, Saad Hariri every single day he shows up on tv asking Hassan Nasrallah to sit down together, he's been waiting almost 1month now, but no answer from Nasrallah.
And Nasrallah, before the December "invasion" of Downtown Beirut, used to always call for Saad and March14 to meet, and they never answered either...
those are just a "Tv show" , you didn't believe those Half assed calls did you? from both sides..

They could call each others in private and make a meeting, and sacrifice some for the sake of the country, but that never happened.

I really don't care for what he thanked him. Point is......he thanked a terrorist serial killer.

FFS, Hassan Nasrallah is a religious person goddamit, I thought religious people dont do these kind of things, thank killers and praise them.

No Lebanese will ever forget how he thanked bashar, it was soo low, soo low that it felt disgusting really.
you believe in something, he believes in something else. He doesn't believe he is a Killer, and he thanked Syria for their support for the last 3 decades. True or not, he believes in that, the opposite believe the opposite.

Rab, another good way to change the government is to have everybody move to neighboring Kazakhstan for refuge. Sends a serious message.

Clashes took place between the Lebanese Army and thousands of Palestinians in Beddawi area in order to return to their camps when the Lebanese Army are trying to finish with Fateh Islam.

It's really sad to see Palestinians doing this again and again and again. And they wonder why lot of Lebanese do want them out of their country and they also wonder why lot of Lebanese want to get rid of them in any possible way.

That said, the Lebanese Army are loosing their soldiers since the battle started with Fateh Islam in order to get rid of these terrorists and return back stability to the camps. Meaning we're cleaning that camp for the Palestinians, and look what we get in return.

I really don't care anymore, I just want to finish with all these refugees, seriously, put them anywhere in the world, Lebanon has had enough of them. If it was up to me, I'd pay billions and billions to any country to accept them.

We can't have another fucking war in Lebanon just because of them AGAIN. Enough is enough.

Anyway, It was amazing to see the Bedawi people sticking with the Lebanese Army today :touched:

You're forgetting the fact that the Lebanese army shot down three civilian refugees dead in that march although they were not carrying weapons.

Congrats for having such brave soldiers.

I just read a story about the christian minority in Palestina. A lot of them fled to Lebanon after Hamas took control. They were living in a camp that was nothing like the other muslim camps. There was no poverty, no riots the families only had max 4 children the women worked like the men, men had only one wife and just a couple of kids not like muslim men who have a couple wives and each have a team of children. They were driven away after Hamas set a light the church and burnt a Mariastatue. They also destroyed the house of Arafat founder of the Palestinestate. I'm not saying Christians are better than Muslims but why are they killing eachother in a new country while it is clear it can work as the christians over there show?

Ermmm, you mean we let these people throw stones at us and insult us? This is not Gazza to throw stones.

Of course they're brave soldiers, they're brave soldiers for protecting your people in the camps and trying not to kill any civilian. They're brave because they're trying to clean the camps where your people sleep at.

and of course they're brave because they're almost done with these terrorists.

and last but not least they're brave for defending themselves the way they did it yesterday. so it didnt really bother me at all to see what our Army did yesterday.

Anyone who throws one single stone on the Army should be shot (not any shot but head shot). Even If that was a member in my family, yes my family.A brave Army puts you in a safe future for you and your kids. They don't like it, they have options to go somewhere else.

So well done Lebanese Army :agree:

You know that Gaza has no borders with Lebanon. Don't you? How can they run to lebanon if there are no borders between gaza and lebanon?

Look. The relationship between Muslims and christians in Palestine was always the best during the history after the Crusaders wars ended. Many Palestinian leaders now are christians like George Habash and Azmi Beshara, and their contribution in the struggle against Israelis is very appreciated.

One of the religious symbols for the Orthodox minority in Jerusalem, Atallah Hanna, is considered as a national symbol more than many Muslim so-called-leaders.

And NO, Arafat was not the founder of palestine. And let's not make fuss about the marrying of more than one woman because it's a very rare case.

Most of the people can't feed one woman and her sons. Why would he marry another one?

Let's revive this thread :D

So the Nahr il Bered conflicts is finally over, I am truly happy for you guys in Lebanon. As I have many friend and relatives there, It gives me a better feeling this mess is over and that everyone is (little more) safer out there..

Now that Fath Il Islam admited that it was them who were involved for the latest explosions happened in Lebanon, while everyone was blaming Syrians. Good to see Syria cleaned it's name this way, and they also did good job as the Lebanese army praised and thanked Syrians for the weapons they got by Syria. Good to see they are helping each others, and I hope Syria can clean it's name for the other murders also and specially Hariri, even thou I believe they have a finger in it, but I hope I am wrong..

Anyway, congratulations for this victory, as it wasn't an easy job to beat these Terrorist groups who are linked with Qaeda.

And for the Presidency elections is soon, what you guys think? who will be elected? I always believed Aoun would win, but he has strong competitors, Butros harb and specially Michel Sleyman.

Congratulations for our Lions, Lebanese Army :touched:

I still think and am even more convinced that Syrian Regime is behind all this, specially that Shaker Al Abbsi was jailed in Syria before being free and sent to Lebanon.

Like Junblat said, Qaeda is financing all this, but it's all done in Syria before being sent to Lebanon.

Anyway, all in all, I'm happy our Amry managed to finish on these terrorists, what the Army passed through is one of the toughest things could ever happen to an Army, Camps fight.

The same army you are proud of admitted that Syria helped them to battle against Fath il Islam.. Come on Rab you can't believe blindly what a politician and specially Junblat says all the time..

Glad the battle is over. Well done for our boys.

R.I.P to all the martyrs...alot of poor young men died fighting these terrorists, so here's to spare a thought for them.....

* * *

The race for the presidency is interesting. Boutros Harb seems to be a likely candidate. Other names include Nassib Lahoud (no relation to the current Emile Lahoud), and possibly Amine Gemayel? Michel Aoun would definitely have a huge support.

The next few months will be interesting to see. We're in September, and thank GOD the summer passed us without another illegal Israeli invasion.

Fateh al Islam are gone, so "in theory" the political bombings should come to an end.

This is the prelude for the new chapter in Lebanon's turbulent history...let's see how it plays out, then.
