Let's say the D protects Fred. Then Fred investigates X and tells us he's a citizen. The fuck do we do then? How do we know whether he's telling the truth or not?
Its a risk you have to take, would you rather lose the detective?

plus, if i was a G, how would i know if Deneb was a C, what if he turns out to be a G from the other family? i'll be fucked as soon as we lynch him. Its a stupid risk to take if i was a G, since there are two G families.

How could possibly Fred know your role today (considering you'll be the investigated one as he's implying), and confirm it before your lynch, if he wasn't the real D?
your making too much sense, your making me suspicious :D

We'll lynch him anyway, even if the probability still favors him.

Don't play. How do we know you're not both G's from the same family and you're just saying this so you divert suspicion from each other?

Far fetched, I know. But we can't just trust you like that. It's too risky. If I were the BG, I'd probably take the risk though. But to make sure, we lynch Deneb or something.

as long as i am not part of his family what the hell does it matter it's a win-win, think about it whats the only way for fred to insure he ll survive today?

From day 1 :shifty:

A G almost never gets lynched on day 1, i dont have to do this.

Btw, don't lynch Deneb today, i still didn't fucking investigate him, what would that prove :sergio:

:D

The only way that Fred could know your role today before the lynch, without him being the D, is that you're both in the same family. Which is still a possibility, so that you'll get your real D.

If the real D knows that Fred is lying, do not mention that you're the real D for now.

That's a good point.
No its not, how will i know what his role is if i wasn't the D?

I'm going to tell you exactly what he is as soon as i get the result tomorrow, how will i know if he's a G or a C? Even if i was a G, how will i know that he isnt a G from the other family. Like i said, i will give you his exact role.

It would prove that you guys aren't fucking with us. We'll lynch Deneb, you investigate someone else. You already fucked him, let's leave it at that.

At this point I'd say that's the most likely option, but I want to see what happens before the deadline.
Even if it does, time is on the C's side, the C's can afford giving me the benefit of the doubt until tomorrow when i will tell you what Denebs role is.

You stupid fuck, think about it, what good would it do if you lynch Deneb today, if you guys will lynch Deneb today, then you will find out what his role is before i get to investigate him, and we're back to square one, if you guys decide to lynch him today, i'll investigate someone else.

---------- Post added 12.06.2012 at 20:32 ----------

this is good, also to hedge the possibility that the real d is in jail ;)
how would i know that?

That's what I'm saying. Investigate someone else. Deneb should be done.
