How about Rod Fanni?? Who is this guy as new RB in France National last game against Tunisia?

Is he great? France produce a great WB for now as Clichy, Evra, even Sagna
When Sagna first got call to national team, we don't mention him but look now?

first of all, he is 26 years old.

France also produced these great players

François Clerc,Bréchet,Réveillère,Boumsong,Christanval,Silvestre,Chimbonda etc

We seem to be very close to the signing of Jorge Fucile(Porto).

He's 24 years old,Uruguayan and can play as a RB and LB.We might just loan him out first and then we could fully get him by spending ~6-8 m €.Anybody seen him?How much better than Molinaro is he?

Oh yeah.

If a kid gets made to look foolish by Totti he must be shit and will always be shit. :disagree:

Criscito is good for his age and, if he muscles up, he good be a very good defender in the future.
I've been following genoa's games this season and criscito is really doing great so far. All what criscito needs IMO to be a great defender is a bit of experience and as you said muscle up. The guy is good....

Exactly.

His positioning and anticipation are impressive for a player of his age.

To make it to Serie A as a CB when you are physically weak, you have to be damn good at other aspects of the game.

Using a Google translation:

Fucile the focal point of Juventus

The German press puts forward a list of possible reinforcements for the defensive sector of Juventus in the reopening of the transfer market in January and the Uruguayan side of FC Porto, Jorge Fucile, is among those elected.

With problems in the sector retreated over the land, where the team argues the Portuguese Tiago is the market looking for reinforcements and Fucile is referenced since it can occupy both ends of defense.

According to German press, the Juventus want to have a loan in January and get the right to purchase the Uruguayan international, with valid contract with FC Porto until 2012, at the end of the season. The blue and white asking for eight million euros for the player.

In addition to Fucile, the Juventus has also referenced Mauro Cetto (Toulouse), Neven Subotic (Borussia Dortmund), Robert Huth (Middlesbrough) and Emmanuel Eboue (Arsenal).

---

Anyone know anything about Fucile, Cetto and Subotic?

Huth or Eboue? No thank you.

Juve are gunning for Fucile

Juventus could swoop for Uruguayan defender Jorge Fucile when the January transfer window opens.

After a poor spell of results, the Old Lady are expected to do some business in the New Year to try and put their Scudetto challenge back on track.

And according to the Corriere dello Sport, Porto star Fucile is one of the Bianconeri main targets.

The versatile 23-year-old can play at left-back or right-back and has been compared to Inter captain Javier Zanetti and Brazilian ace Roberto Carlos and is renowned for his speed, dribbling and powerful free-kicks.

Fucile is under contract with Porto until 2012 and is valued at around £6m, but he could arrive in January on loan with an option for a permanent switch in the summer of 2009.

The arrival of the Uruguayan international would be welcomed by the nation's Press, as Fucile means rifle in Italian, making him a headline writer's dream.

Subotic is a 19year old central defender. Reports claim that he's a big talent and is still waiting for his German citizenship because he wants to play for Germany NT. Haven't seen him play but he's 19 and is in the starting line-up for Borussia. Tells alot about him and the faith they have in him

Here's what I wrote about Subotic a couple of weeks ago:

I watched every game of Dortmund so far and I can assure you that Subotic is a great talent and will become very good in the future. He is very calm and does not commit fouls too often.Strong in the air and very dangerous when joining the attack. He had an off game against Schalke defensively but that happens every now and then and will help him to improve.Other than that he gets a lot of praise from the german media.

It's too early to tell if he's good enough to play for a club like Juventus, but saying that he's not "Juve Quality"(whatever the fuck that means)is straight rubbish. How can anybody judge that after around 5 Bundesliga matches?

By the way:Subotic can choose his future NT between Bosnia,Croatia,America or Germany:lol:

Which is actually untrue. He cannot choose for Croatia, it has to be Serbia.
But his uncle is a good friend of our family and he told us that he wants to play for Germany.

Hamsik is wasted in that position. You want him to make forward runs.

He's solid nothing more, he's a midfielder converted fullback by the way.
