Indeed Dule I was speaking in general of how useful he can be, not really considering our sitaution of having Momo already. As I already mentionned, overkill to get a an inferior version of Momo. But if we didnt have him, could have been valid option.

Ben Arfa To Marseille?

Young French international Hatem Ben Arfa's future at Olympique Lyon grows evermore uncertain as president Jean-Michel Aulas hinted in newspaper La Provence that OL would be willing to listen to offers for the player.

Having struggled to break into the Lyon starting eleven on a regular basis in recent weeks, twenty-one year-old Ben Arfa was said to be “unhappy” by Aulas in the press last week, although made no statement himself.

This very public declaration struck observers as a message to interested parties to bid for the young French international; however Aulas has taken matters a step further today by strongly hinting that the wing-forward could be used as a makeweight in a deal for Marseille's Samir Nasri.

There is no secret of Lyon's admiration of the creative midfield player while Marseille, along with Arsenal, have been made favourites to sign Ben Arfa.

Comments made in La Provence today are certainly designed to act as a catalyst for Marseille to move.

Lyon's President is quoted as saying, "If Marseille contacted us for Hatem, would we be ready to yield to him? I answer: why not? Nothing prevents us from considering such an offer.

"Marseille are a large club where Hatem could be just as easily affirmed as abroad. Precisely, the idea to see this young talent continuing to play in France would allure me. It would be a good thing for Ligue 1."

I would really love to see Ben Arfa, I rate him very highly. Fred do you know if Lyon want to buy back Tiago?

I'd would like Juve to buy Albanian international player, Olympique de Marseille FC captain, Lorik Cana. He can play as Center Back and Defensive Midfielder, he really is the new Fernando Redondo.

Lorik Cana was born in Kosovo, but left as a child to escape the war when he moved to Switzerland. His father, Agim Cana, also a famous Albanian footballer of so-called "Golden Generation" of KF Prishtina during the 1980s, inspired him and as a young boy he joined the Lausanne Sports in Switzerland. He then worked up the ranks in the team until year 2000 when he was spotted and signed by Paris Saint-Germain. He finally broke into the first team of PSG in 2003 when during the 2003-2004 season he played 32 games, scored one goal, won the Coupe de France, and finished second in the French Division 1 league. This success was repeated the next season when he also played 32 games for the Paris team, scoring one goal. However, at the beginning of the 2005-2006 season the coach of PSG changed, and this prompted Cana to move to the south of France and join Olympique de Marseille. Since joining Olympique he has cemented his place in the starting eleven, and scored the winning goal in the first match between his new club (Olympique de Marseille) and his old club (Paris Saint-Germain). At present, Cana is considered to be the best Albanian football player due to his value in the transfer market.

For quite some time Lorik Cana has been an objective for some of the largest European clubs. His outstanding qualities and good physical condition have made him one of the hottest topics in French media transfer talks. He has been the team captain of his club since the departure of the former captain during summer 2007, and he is the captain of his national team.

Currently talks with Arsenal FC have been in Transfer Media speculation. Real Madrid, AC Milan and SL Benfica have also tabled their interest.
I've been saying this for quite some time, Cana is a quality player that would do well with a big team, imo he is ready to make that big step up, he is such an inspiration to his teammates, strong tackler and a decent passer too. I'd love it if he came to replace the Flamster

I very much doubt that, they already have Kallstrom, and they bought Bodmer in the summer, who btw is having a phenomenal first season in Lyon.

Oh guys after today's humiliation of Barcelona FC, they would be selling players FAST. That would move the market for sure. We should wait and snap some youngster as all the tools of the trade would be deployed on the transfer market this year. Berlusconi, the funny lobster is speaking so much bull S*it already and it is all about some 15 mln. euros he didn't want to pay. I am sure that the transfer market would drop the prices down as not a single club (except Chelsea) wants to invest big cash on the market.
Barca would sell Dos Santos, Xavi, Deco, Ronaldinho... maybe up to 10 players. Abidal might be leaving as well - something we cannot easily overlook, since he would come less than 10mlns after this 'glorious' season.
I was hoping of a miracle Ramos transfer, because his current salary is around 3mln. euros per year, and I though we could give him 4 or 4+, but then again Chelsea are likely to get him.
But really I think we should concentrate over some more champions league prooven players, rather than some french mediocre players.Abidal was top nocht Lyon material, won everything in France and he underperformed big time in Barca. Maybe he can grow with us?
Or we can take Higuanin from Real if they take Kaka/Drogba/ Berbatov?

I don't buy this news....If it was madrid its likely to happen but barca is not the kind of club that rush and sell 10 or so players just because they had a bad season. Most likely they'll get a new couch, sell few players 3-5 max and non of the youngsters would be sold IMO.....

If i was Secco, my transfer targets would be: Vargas, Hleb, Eto'o, Diego Valeri
I would return: Giovinco, Marchisio
Loan: De ceglie
I would sell: Boumsong, Marchionni, Almiron, Tiago, Olivera, Nocerino (sell half of rights)

With us already having Trez, DP, Iaquinta, Palladino, possibly Amauri

Up and coming Lanzafame... Is there any need for this "startlet"??
Amauri might not come judging by recent news.We could easily sell Iaquinta or Palladino if not both.

Lanzafame won't return.

We could sign him and loan him out at least if we're not going to use him.

Anyway that wasn't exactly my point. We just can't find some youth potential.

I didn't mean lanzafame returning straight away... if this guy came he wouldn't even play he would be loaned just like lanzafame.. i think whatever happens next season we will have 4 top quality strikers... dont think there would be room for this Fornaroli...

Youth Potential: Giovinco (may not be that youth anymore but he is still potential), as with Marchisio, palladino, de ceglie... How about Piatti, Diego Valeri...

Palladino has barely played... I'd hate to see him leave.
For me Benzema would be the best forward for us to sign. The guy is the going to be better than trez(if he isn't already).

There is a need to sign a non-Italian player because our youth, apart from Gio, Marchisio, and maybe De Ceglie haven't proved themsleves at all yet. We need someone that can make a difference. He doesn't have to be 18 FFS.

I can say whatever I want. Put me on your ignore list if you don't want to see someone critisize your thinking, just don't cry, please.
