I think if we could get Joaquin playing at his best he would be an awesome buy.

If we bid around 15 million we could get him. His pace and attacking would help us out alot I think. And we could then fully Convert Camo to our starting CAM/CM

That way we don't have to settle for a less than spectacular CM such as Tiago. And we get the benefit of having a rampaging winger on our right who will give crosses and attacking runs into the box.

How much has Joaquin progressed since his Valencia move?I dont really follow him so i dont know.Ive been under the impression that he hasnt stepped up significantly though.

Not much really .. he was pretty bad in the first 3/4th of his first season season but lit it up at the end of last year., The whole team has sucked this season but I think a new environment and a team that is focused would take him back to his best.

yeah the only defender we need is a LB. Andrade will be back next season and Mellberg is here too.

Joaquin would be a huge pick up if we could do it. I remember him owning Chelsea on the right in the CL.

I am almost sure we will not sell Molinaro, Ranieri likes him and as you said, with the return of De Ceglie we don't really need a LB (maybe only Grosso )

About Joaquin, I think he didn't really fufil his potential, he was touted as the next figo when he was younger, and he was promising, I put him in the same brakes as c.ronaldo about 3 years ago, in terms of ability i would have said he was better, but he never really grew on his potential and if you ask me he is a bit of a let down, similar to reyes. However having said that I still regard him highly.

We might get Stendardo if we manage to pull out a sly deal including some player. If Napoli give up on Zalayeta we get him back for peanuts and we can swap him straight with Stendardo. Juve should play it smart with those half ownerships with Napoli, we can win a buck or two with them.

Maybe he isn't and I'd prefer to see some world class defender next to Chiellini but we just have too many of them so it could be smarter to cover wings (considering we bought Amauri...PS No Mark...not Huntelaar!...Amauri! This wasn't smokescreen )

Molinaro,De Ceglie,Legro,Chiellini,Mellberg,Andrade,Grygera and Zebina are more of then enough.

And btw with De Ceglie IN I wouldn't mind LBs but I'd still be worried about RBs though.

I still don't know what to say about Grygera (you know how he played..)and Zebina who can't get along with Ranieri and who's always injured and when he isn't then he's suspended.

We defenitely need CB quality like Zapata or any other really competent defender. Ours are mostly average, wethers its Legro, Grygera, Stendardo or Andrade and Mellberg, who are better then the first 3 but both of a quality we should aim higher of. We need a bonafide partner for Chiellini.

We made the mistake of underestimating this need last summer, or it was harder to get real quality. But now its easier with CL and is for sure something to ratify. Defenders who are of individual quality is needed, instead of decent or average ones who work just a unit. Look at the other top teams CB pairs and then look at ours, and that should be answer enough.

getting stendardo would be great ... he always was up to the task, when he played and i guess nobody wants to see the diver zalayeta in a juve shirt again

But yet again I highly doubt we're going to sign some quality CB.If we get any defender it will be RB probably.

Indeed I am doubtful too, and that frustrates me. Because we have a whole summer of being able to buy quality defender like Zapata, and have the money to upgrade, but we will settle with average defenders yet again. More understandable last season, NOT AT ALL this season. Quantity of average is not an excuse to overlook lack of quality.

I don't know why we haven't tried for Ujfalusi.I'm not saying he's world class but he's surely better then Mellberg IMO.

I don't think he is better than Mellberg, but he is accustomed to Serie A.
