Maybe we should sign Aguerro and be done with it. I would not find a single non-retarded Juve fan that would oppose such a transfer.
As a matter of fact if there is something sure about players transfers is that:
-C.Ronaldo,Messi would be great for our wings
-Essien would be a great CDM, better than Sissoko
and last one: Aguerro would make miracles in our attack.
Sadly, the transfers we are always making are 50/50, recently even 20/80(meaning for every 1 good player we get , we collect 4 more flops). So here you go...
If we spend 3 times by 15 millions, with our scouts we would have at best one or not a single good player. On the other side if we buy Aguerro or Messi for 45, we would have one of the if not the greatest players in their positions.
So if the management wants to redeem itself in front of the fans(cause the other cheaters Milan, won CL after Calciopolli for their supporters) they should get us a REAL STAR.

45M for Aguero I think we might would be able for less but ok I think he does worth it!

45M for Messi I`m not sure we could get him even for 75M not to talk about his wages (sure I`ll be happy to see him at Juve too...)

as for C.Ronaldo I know you haven`t mentioned him but he would cose as much as Messi

I wouldn't take cristiano for more than 30 mil euros, i really wont....As for the others yeah i agree i would spend 50-65 mil for messi he's one of a kind player (imo he's best player in the world currently). Aguero is a special talent too, i would spend up to 40 million euros for him for sure.....Talk about fantazy football :spliff:

For what I've seen we are in front of Inter in Forbes Richest teams this year. Madrid has some debt as well to repay. What we should be striving for is less talk and more action. Besides ones you buy two great players (example Aguero + Messi) the team would gather such a reputation that all the other great ones would want to join.
The point is if we miss 2 years, like we did already we would not have a single star in our team. I am not saying Giovinco is not a hot prospect, it is that he is not that famous and frankly I do not see who is going to 'speak' with the other stars. Maybe Gigi?
But Hey all of you - cheer up!!!
We are Juventus and the owners must shake their pockets. Soon the FIA president would be changed and it is over the domination of Ferrari - so they should concentrate on Juve.
This season we did well - next one we are expecting Great things.
PS: And by great things I do not mean 1/8 CL finals and 2nd spot in Seria A.

Technically, Juventus is richer than Inter, and has a better debt ratio than Real Madrid, you're right. However, Juventus does not have the raw cash flow Real Madrid has, or the billionaire sugardaddy that Inter has who happily takes a loss on Inter for tax purposes and to better his toy.

Juventus runs on a very strict business model with very little financial backing from its shareholders who do have the financial clout to do what Moratti does for Inter, but refuse to play that game.

And my point is that since these shareholders already lifted the team with 100m € (otherwise Secco's job would have been impossible) they have to jump on the cash again. I don't know who has to wake up, but I thought that more people here are actually informed of our current status.
Juventus USED to run on a strict financial model. And quite honestly we were a success. Moggi was paying back more than 30mil € per year dividends and still getting the top-notch players. All is good, but that was BEFORE.
Now it is a different story. I would try to explain shortly…

Football in Italy is connected with out of the club funding. (Try to understand that.) Business is/was if I put 10m € in a player, could I get 5m € officially back as ticket sales, shirt sales, etc. Moratti is not only doing it for the fun, nor is any other major club owner. Check the financial operations, not the pure balance sheets.
NOW (check it up, if you do not believe, or ask any old member of this forum) JUVENTUS is back in the hands of the Agnellis. Their investment routes differ A LOT from the ones of Moggi. There were speculations that they want to sell the club. If they want to do that they must enhance one thing above all - PR ratings, meaning getting a shitload of trophies/or buying some highly rated players.

Example: Inter, are profiting more from PR stories and NEWS time than actually trophies they are winning. They were arguably the third sensation in the CL, right after the finalists, just because they got a lot of players, big mouth, and astonishingly low-level performance.

So, yes if Juventus want to be great, now is the time to invest greatly. The old team did the miracle of getting us back in top-level flight of Seria A, but is not enough to have the old Great Juventus. And it is in the interest of everyone (including, above all, the OWNERS) to get us back, where we belong.

He would be cheap, but I'm not sure he would be a good move.

I don't rate him higher than what we have already, and he is getting old.
