very smart move i think because he can take us to a whole new level of creativity, is very strong, a good age and simply needs to get some confidence and support shown in him.

A change of scenery would do him alot of good. Also the fact Tiago is virtually worthless for the most part and Nedved will either retire this year or the next. We need to replace him with another top class Left sided mid. Dhino is the best.

I think 43 million for him would be a bargain hahaha

he would make us capable of beating any team in the world whether it be Man Utd, Inter or Madrid.

Plus we would make back a chunk of the money in jersey sales because he is a very popular player and We are with Nike so they could help possibly. Re-ignite Dhino at Juve!

Plus we have alot of work rate in our mid with players like Sissoko, Zanetti, Nocerino and Marchisio on his return.

Dhino would have total freedom to dominated the left.
It would have been a bargain two or three years ago when he had the world at his feet. But, today he isn't worth that much IMO. I would say 15 million euros would be a reasonable price for him (20million at the most). But he would have to take a massive pay-cut.

Ronaldinho isn't a full blown faggot. Him being here would change everything. Our tactics especially. If he's to come, I have no complaints. I for one don't care about the player's personal life as long as you remain professional in what you do on the field.

But its true that he's too luxurious and we wont be able to support that. He's a player that demands the team to play for him. And it works only that way for him to perform. Juve isn't of such. In the end we would only become like what Riijkard, a jackass as CalcioJuventus said it because that weed up dutch finally realised football is about 11 players playing on the field and not 10 ball collectors and 1 player.

Anyone who would say Ronaldinho sucks is just pure pathetic. I've read many posts in this forum regarding him as shit and Del Piero plays better bla bla bla... Just can't understand why would these people wet their panties everytime a player from Barcelona has a bad day. Ronnie is great. I respect him. But does he respect Juventus? Now thats the biggest question if he's to come here.
tbh i love the way the man plays the game, i would never say he is shit or anything like that but his baggage taht he brings is not what we need at this moment in time

If we truly want to win CL, we need to do something like this, but Secco ain't Moggi...

GK = Mirante *
CB = Mellberg *
RB = Miguel
LB = Vargas or Grosso + De Ceglie*
CM = VDV or Lampard or Hamsik + Marchisio*
LM = Ronaldinho + Giovinco*
RM = Covered (Marchionni)
CF = Giuseppe Rossi

* = Players we already own.

We could skip risking it and sign Ronaldinho, but it all depends on his price. IMO we could pull it off, since Barcelona are in debt to us. They got Thuram and Zambrotta from us, which normally wouldn't happen. Also Dinho isn't happy there anymore.

The Squad:
GK: Buffon, Mirante.
Defenders: Chiellini, Legrottaglie, Andrade, Mellberg, Zebina, Miguel, Grosso/Vargas, De Ceglie.
Midfielders: Ronaldinho, Nedved, Giovinco, Camoranesi, Marchionni, Sissoko, Zanetti, Marchisio, Lampard/VDV/Hamsik.
Forwards: Trezeguet, G.Rossi, Iaquinta, Del Piero

1st XI:

----------------G.Rossi - Trezeguet--------------
Ronaldinho - Lampard - Sissoko - Camoranesi
------Grosso - Chiellini - Andrade - Miguel-----
-----------------------Buffon----------------------

2nd XI:

--------------Del Piero - Iaquinta---------------
-Giovinco - Zanetti - Marchisio - Marchionni--
De Ceglie - Legrottaglie - Mellberg - Zebina--
----------------------Mirante---------------------

Sell off:
- Grygera (€3m)
- Salihamidzic (€2m)
- Tiago (€9m)
- Almiron (€7m)
- Molinaro (€4m)
- Palladino (€9m)
- Olivera (€2m)
- Nocerino (€4m)
- Zalayeta (€4m)
- Blasi (€3m)
------------------------
Boost: €47m

+ The likes of Birindelli, Stendardo and Belardi will prolly leave however we won't get any cash for them. (Grande Birindelli staff job)

Buy/get back:
- Ronaldinho (€22m)
- G.Rossi (€25m)
- Lampard/VDV/Hamsik (€14m, more for VDV)
- Grosso/Vargas (€6m, more for Vargas)
- Miguel (€16m)
- Giovinco (LM Backup)
- Marchisio (CM Backup)
- De Ceglie (LB Backup)
- Mirante (GK Backup)
-------------------------
Cost: €85m

Total funds spent: €38m (and we still have money left for wages)

And we have a very strong team to win the liga and CL. I don't think it's impossible, but with Secco we don't have much hope. I'd be afraid to play Juventus with that #1 Lineup. If we lead, and need to defend, throw out Miguel, put in Mellberg RB, take out Lamp/VDV/Ham and put in Zanetti :D

Okey, so maybe I'm optimistic about what we get for our players, and what those stars will cost us. At least it's somewhere around there. Keep in mind that I don't know how much we must pay to get back full ownership for Mirante and De Ceglie. All I know is that they're worth it.

OBS! I know that I have been posting many elevens and FM:ish stuff like this, but they're all basically the same, except for Ronaldinho :D
Hope you all bear with me, I'm just a dreamer with too much free time..

Well Gigi thinks Ronaldinho would a great signing.

Maybe the club will go get him now. That would be sooo sick. Could you guys imagine the excitement he would bring to Juve?

As for his "baggage" .. that will be left in Barca. He will begin fresh here. Just like we did as a club after the Scandal. I really think it is perfect.. the best and most dominant player reborn at the best and most dominant club.

Plus if we get him we wont have any problem getting anyone else in the future. We would have mad clout

OK, so he's only 28 with a few solid years ahead of him. We picked up Nedved when he was 29 and that was a great purchase. But Nedved earned his golden ball with us. I'm not so sure we'd see that with Little Ron.
If he proves to be our solution for the scudetto or even bring us back to european glory, I would say he deserve another one.

Nah i know u didnt say he's shit. I just recall someone did in some thread where M-elayyan discusses about Barca. And i know what you mean about his baggage and somehow I too feel the same. Something's telling me his arrival would screw many of our current players' future coz when Ronnie is around, everything is about him. We wont be recognising Sissoko, Chiellini, Iaquinta etc.....
And we won't get back Giovinco!!! :(

exactly the whole squad harmony would be disrupted. and we all know, and accept, that at Juve the team comes first! this is why,for me, the signing will not ever happen

Afellay was good vs Fiorentina today.
ye he was and that ashavin guy was really good also he scored a great goal and setup another.

also whats this i hear about kewell :scared:,this is one of a few articles linking him with us.

SOCCEROOS midfielder Vince Grella says Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri is interested in signing Harry Kewell from Liverpool.
Grella, who lives in Turin, the home of Juventus, said Kewell's move to Italy was more than speculation.

Kewell's five-year deal with Liverpool ends on June 30 and Grella said: "I saw it (the link to Juventus) in the (Torino) paper maybe two weeks ago.

"It hasn't been talked about that much but when I was at Parma with Claudio Ranieri (in 2007) he asked for a lot of information about Harry.

"At that stage he didn't talk about a Kewell move to Juventus because he didn't know he was going to become the manager of Juventus."

Grella said Ranieri adored Kewell's style and the work ethic of some of the other Socceroos.

"He was one of maybe three or four Aussies Ranieri asked me about," Grella said.

"But he does know of the Aussie players and loves the mentality. He thinks that we're very underestimated as players. It could be an advantage for him."
