I would say it will depend on whether they win La Liga.

Quaresma, Robben and Robinho playing together would be quite something though. Could only happen at Real or Chelsea.

Fred, do you know how Quaresma played today?
i saw him and just as c. ronaldo in big game all that came out of his stepovers was crap.

he failed at barcelona and he'd fail again at another good club ... he is just lucky to play in a mediocre league ... comparable to the dutch league ... 2 decent teams and the rest is crap not even worth mentioning, just to concede goals from the two topclubs and make their players look good.

the one on one with manuel neuer he really should have scored ...he could've rounded him instead of doing a really weak fakeshot.

we could trade him in with palladino ... or even better, let them both play together... what a beautiful ballet that would be ... dancing around with the ball like
and never scoring.

Yeah we all know Ronaldo chokes every time he gets the ball..

DUDE WHERE THE FUCK HAVE YOU BEEN THE LAST THREE YEARS?

Have you seen the guy play? I mean, surely, you did not just say that after having seen C. Ronaldo play? Either this is thé most inane comment ever made on this forum or it is the most biased one. I'm going with my experience here and say it's sheer stupidity.

you mean i should be impressed by him for scoring many goals against football midgets and not being able to score against the top four clubs in the premier league ?

this pretty boy is just like cassano on the emotional side ... last time i saw him against a good side he nearly started crying like a little baby ...

cassano gets crazy in situations, but c.ronaldo just starts to cry, because he doesn't dare to scream, because he is afraid that some 8 year old boy would punch him ...

perhaps u can tell me the last time ronaldo played well and scored against a good team;)

don't get me wrong ... i like tricks a.s.o.
but when i want to see them i go to the circus ... watching a female clown on the pitch seems strange to me ;)

your turn ;)

When was the last time Kaka scored against a good team ?
I'll tell you, 10 months ago. Is he bad player now ?

Cristiano Ronaldo is EPL top scorer with 21 goals, 10 rounds before the end.
Cristiano Ronaldo is Champions League top scorer with 6 goals.
Cristiano Ronaldo is not a striker.

You know what they say that the championships are won against the smaller teams, not against the big teams.
Give me a midfielder for Juve who scored 27 goals (+some in the Cups probably) in early March already, and who scored all these goals to Empoli, Sampdoria, Palermo, Lyon and the likes, and i'll give you my right hand.

people saying that Quaresma and Ronaldo are bad players because they are chokers are talking about a myth. They don't actually watch these players on a consistent basis, they just believe in these myths because they hear other haters repeat them. The common ones are usually : Ronaldo sucks because he doesn't play well against big teams, Quaresma sucks because he only does fancy work, Lampard only scores fluke goals and sucks. these seem to be the common myths around here.

Exactly. In a league like EPL, or Serie A you play 38 games. out of those 6-8 games are against "big" or "tough" clubs. I'd rather have player that will play excellent in 30 games and okay to good in 8 games than a player that will play excellent in 8 games and okay for 30 games. After all you win leagues based on consistency.

oh and the poster said which big recent game Ronaldo score in? well it was last night against Lyon in the CL. So no more of thise Ronaldo only scores in againt small crappy teams.

i tell you how you see the real strength... let him play with his national team and see how he sucks ;)

remember WC2006 ? Damn, how can he be defeated by the lousy germans?

i can't show you guys a midfielder that scores so often, because c.ronaldo is no midfielder ...

being a midfielder would consist of "having to defend" ... uuuh yeah, i almost forgot how often i saw c.ronaldo defend and tackle ... so just because he does not play the first striker role, that does not mean he is a midfielder !

when u say it is more important to win against the small teams, than you're talking about league business ..

i guess we could agree in "c.ronaldo is good player for the national championship"... but in cup competitions you wont go far with those players, because in the later stages you will get better opponents.

furthermore i do not have to watch c.ronaldo in games against footballing midgets ... for me it's enough seeing him on the big stage ... or at least ... looking for him in big matches ... aaaaah there he is on the squad roaster on teletext (thats how much u see from him there)

So big in your mouth, Lousy! You must've been seeing another tournament.

About the C Ronaldo discussion, although i agree with you to some extent in regards to ronaldo. But right now he is the most influential player in the world, messi would be on par with him or better if he wasn't injured half the time.

Quaresma is good, but i'm not sure he would do well in a tougher league, though if he is not too expensive i wouldn't mind Juve taking the gamble as Nedved's replacement
He does very well against the big teams in the CL though, Imo he's good enough to play in one of the top leagues.

so then feel free to tell me what would germany have gotten away with, without having their home supporters in large numbers ?

the german nationalteam is still as funny as the time they got beat in fiorentinas stadium 4-1.

do they have decent strikers ? klose and podolski ? omg ... u saw how good they were against italy ... a guy like bernd schneider who they call "the white brazilian" ... wtf ? this guy cant even do 2 stepovers and is more of a running midget on the flanks ...

very slow defenders (should have been a easy prey for c.ronaldo) ...

sry, but against all this hype here in germany i think they suck

they even had someone who cant play football, just because he is so fast (odonkor)

here in germany they say he was an athlete or sprinter or something and when he found out he was not competitive in this sport he tried kicking a ball or something ...

Being defeated by Germany in the semi-final is not a poor result. The fact you seem to hold C. Ronaldo responsible for the result of Portugal only says just how much of a player you know he is.

What is your obsession with the word midget anyway? Do you have some sort of disorder you're a bit ashamed of? Let me assure you that most EPL defenders are not midgets.

This season Ronaldo scored against, Sporting Lissabon (which for him ought to have been a very big game), Dynamo Kiev (which is Champions League and thus is the big level), Arsenal (you might find that they're not so big, but they did beat Milan you know), Dynamo Kiev again, Sporting Lissabon again, scored three against Newcastle (who really are chokers, but still have a very decent squad), another two against Newcastle and two days ago he scored the winner against Lyon.

These are only goals though. Ronaldo does much more than that. If you are saying Ronaldo is a choker and a lousy football player, you are obviously a midget with issues and poor vision.
