Yeah, but lets not forget that Arsene Wenger isn't a dumb coach. He won't get rid of a player just because they bought another one. He knows that Modric is a promising player but won't put all that pressure on him, Modric will only play a few games when he first joins Arsenal. Just look at Theo Walcott.
Wenger might be the best manager for youngsters on the planet. He's smart enough to keep the youngsters he wants for the future and not throw them away by loaning them out to random clubs. Juventus should study Wenger's methods and actually take chances on young players.

We could have signed Rosicky, Hleb, Ronaldo and Kaka, but the "genius" Moggi didn't want them for some reason. Shame. They're all better players than we currently have.

There is absolutely no reason why we shouldn't be looking into Modric either.

U did a little mistake there...Moggi wanted to buy C.Ronaldo, but Juve had to off load Salas first, who didn't want to go away...so the deal didn't go through...

But we have allot of youngsters...we just need to keep peeling them diamonds-Giovinco, Palladino, Criscito, Marchesio...and we should be fine...

Don't forget De Ceglie, he's playing real well at Siena. They should convert him at LB and learn to defend and he'd be our starting LB next season. He couldn't do worse than Molinaro and Criscito at LB atm.

Diego Lugano is being linked with us again, personally from the very few times i have watched him he has been great! i dont know whether he could step up another level to become world class & future transfers should be made with the view of the player becoming world class (we dont have the funds to buy current world class players)

It's sad really. One of the most talented midfielders in Europe today and we haven't even been linked with him. Just google for "Luka Modric" and you'll get tons of arsenal boards discussing the guy, everyone's full of praise for him, it's like he's an Arsenal player already. In all honesty, I think he pretty much is and he'll fit right into that young, dynamic and creative midfield. Arsenal are building a team for years to come.

Salute to them, screw you Secco.
