santacroce is overrated, i personally dont see whats wrong in deploying ariaudo
Santacroce might be overrated but he is still a good player and amongst the best Italian CBs.

Nothing wrong with counting on Ariaudo but he has just 1 Serie A game under his belt and could turn into another Criscito.I'd prefer to loan him out to see what he is about.

so whats the difference between ariaudo and a serie B defender like belusci if its down to lack of serie A experience?

Ariaudo solely played against players at his age in the Primavera while Bellusci at least played in a professional league(Serie B) against good teams and strong strikers.Serie B level is quite good,we should know that out of all. That's the difference.

AG.

Ascoli won't release him till the end of the season because they have to fight against relegation. We might get him now but loan him out till the end of the season.

the mental level between the 2 are different, its a huge step up, we had the benefit of experienced players to help us through B

I think im going to cry... Secco? lol we have the worst guy handling our transfers.. I can easily say that even I would do a better job..

And Ranieri omg... we are fucked..

I don't care if we buy new players or not..

New coach and a new sportdirector.. Secco sucks in all ways.

We should have kept criscito. Inexperienced perhaps but he definitely would be getting first team experience and probably gaining more from our more experienced players. I don't agree with this loan bullshit anymore, it comes back to bite us in the ass.

If we had kept him then we wouldn't have to spend any money at all. Now we are gonna end up with all these average defenders we bought as "back up or cover". If the board is going to open up their wallets they need to get someone that is great, there is no use getting another average defender.

They would be foolish to sell him, simply because they cant get much of anything for Santacroce right now, because he is a bench player for them now. Been erratic this season.

I didn't see a lot of Napoli games this season but I read that he wasn't even close to what he has been last season. He's still one hell of a talent and would be ideal to partner Chiellini.I don't believe this crap anyway.

He was HUGE fuckup in the Roma 3-0 game, botching up way too much (he was too aggressive, going for the tackle and interception every time, not thinking how much space he leaves if he fails). Reja been patient with him, playing him alot despite Rinaudo being more solid, but still there is only enough patience you can give. But yeah, He is still a VERY obvious defensive talent, for sure.

Wow, Immobile's absence is really shocking.
I mean, what are we going to do against Chelsea, and Barcelona, ManU, Liverpool etc if we pass Chelsea, without Immobile?
