Yeah! Just what we need! A striker! :D
I think this would mean Iaquinta would leave and then, IMO, it would be an improvement
If we have to pay 27 million it is definately not woth it. He is a great player from what i've seen from the U21s of Italy, but for 27 million we could probably get Diego and a good defender
Or Modric :) and a good defender.

And true, that would be fine by me also.

Juve to reel in Rossi? Wednesday 12 November, 2008

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus have set their sights on luring Azzurri striking star Giuseppe Rossi, according to Press reports.

The Old Lady have long been admirers of the Villarreal marksman, but the Yellow Submarine fended off their advances in the summer.

However, according to Tuttosport, the Turin giants are considering breaking the bank to bring in one of Italy's greatest prospects.

Juve will need to meet Villarreal's bumper rescission clause, which is set at around £27m.

The Bianconeri may have to beat some fierce competition for Rossi's services as he made his debut for La Nazionale against Bulgaria last month and is respected across Europe.

However, the former Parma man has previously stressed his desire to play for one of the peninsula's giants.

Rossi, who is under contract until 2013, found the net 11 times in his first season in La Liga.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Would be great, Rossi and Gio both in the team.
This would be FUCKING amazing, I cant stress that enough. I would sell Iaquinta as quickly as I can blink just to make room for Rossi. If thats necessary.

Having Giuseppe Rossi would be too good to be true.Anyone who saw how Rossi and Giovinco played together at the U21 knows what I'm talking about.

I want Fausto Rossi and Iago to join the first squad next year and "replace" Nedved.

I think everyone should get really excited about whatever bullshit Tuttosport has invented today, because it will definitely happen.
Its irrelevant if its a rumour or not linking him with us. The rumour isnt even that realistic, there is no way we will pay 27m pounds for him.

But it still can be addressed even if it wasnt a rumour or not, because he is IMO a very likely forward we could rejuvenate our strike force with in the near future. He is a very realistic target IMO, one it wouldnt take much to get (money yes, but not much to convince him to come).

Especially as our italian rivals (because he will surely comeback to Italy) arent likely to look for a forward like him, atleast Inter and Milan, and yeah...Roma cant be compared to us.

My point is merely that it isn't really worth giving serious consideration to Rossi on the basis of what Tuttosport says.

I agree that Rossi may well be a viable option at some point in the future. He is certainly a player I would like to see play for Juventus at some point.

Seeing Elano is unsettled at Manchester City, we should definitely make a bid for him. He's the best when played in the middle, but he's versatile enough to play a free role on the wing. He's also strong, tactically aware and disciplined for a Brazilian playmaker.

He'd be the perfect replacement for Camo or Nedved.

He hasnt done too well when stuck on the wing for City. That being said, he has played on the right quite a few times for Brazil. A fantastic player nonetheless and frankly i'm mystified as to why he doesnt start for City.

I'm so excited for next season already, especially as this season is over for us already. When we get Diego, Schweinsteiger, Modric, Yaya Toure, Elano, Rossi, Benzema, Corradi, Silvestri, De Silvestri, Cassano and Stankovic, we will be unstoppable.
