it expires at the end of the season but i have heard that the club might offer him a new one/ try to convince him to play on.

He might even play in Euro and then sign another deal.

Nedved is a machine ... but an aging one. I would be happy if he plays on and Giovinco returns .. that would make our left side pretty strong. Also we have Salihamidzic and Palla for cover just in case.

You guys reckon we could prise Deco away from Barcelona? His time there seems to be up and I reckon he'd be perfect for us. He works hard and he'd give us all the creativity from midfield we need. I've rarely seen a playmaker tackle as well as he. His form this season has been poor, but he's a class player, i'm sure a change of scenery would do him well.

Barca will probably sell him this summer.I think he`d do good here and maybe they are still interested in Tiago so we could swap `em + add some :money:

But I still think Lampard will sign for us though.

But Lamps would add another dimension to our play with his neat passing and timed runs into the box. Plus with Momo in our midfield we could afford to have a more offensive minded mid like Lampard. He will also take us to a higher level with his experience and quality.

I think he would be welcomed by the senior players who seem to want the club to make huge European signings. Lampard also knows Ranieri and will hopefully be like a duck to water when he gets here playing alongside Momo. We don't want them to take for ever to gel.

Nedved/Giovinco---Lampard---Sissoko---Camo

would be a better mid than


Nedved/Giovinco---Flamini---Sissoko---Camo


plus Marchisio is a bit like Flamini is he not?

your comparing two very different players there, Flamini is a defensive mid with ball winning capabilities, while Lamps is more of an attacking midfielder. plus i dont think Lampard would fit in the classic 4-4-2 Ranieri uses anyway, imo he doesnt have the discipline and positional sense to be a DM in a 4-4-2.

I hate dual DM's in the middle. We had that with Emerson-Vieira which sucked ass outside of Serie A. In CL that is just crap. We need a player who is not afraid to go forward and create. Sissoko and Zanetti is good enough and we have Nocerino who can play that role. But I rather loose him and have Marchisio instead.
