The Tacchinardi situation is still a bit blurry. Who knows if he will be here next year. If so, we will have Zanetti, Tacchinardi, and Paro. Good, not great, but I think one stout player would serve us well here. I am a big Donadel fan, but I haven't heard anything about his availability.
As far as Nedved's backup is concerned. Ribery would be my first choice. Then maybe Robinho, Esposito, or Quaresma. Although the player I would love to see here would be D'Agostino. But, Udinese would not let him go cheaply if at all.

Esposito would only be an option in my eyes is he was on the cheap.

Imho the serie a sides have plenty of Dmf's, in the past we have had too many, suffering from a lack of creativity, especially for such a big side.
If we had a CMF would posed an attacking threat along side a full time DMF, that would be much more beneficial. But as we operate two dmfs, not even a regista, imho out attacking play is limited.

imo DMF is not the problem here.Getting a decent CMF next to him is the problem.But there are some good ones out there.The key is to invest in that position, someone that could hold the midfield day in and day out.

Just because he is from Roma, I wouldn't let that cloud my perception of reality. he is a very clever footballer. We could use him.
Cagliari is at the bottom of the table and I just threw his name out there, because he may leave at cost if Cagliari fall. Also, he has been injured for a long time and could be sold for cheap on that accout. Merely speculation... no more.
Robinho to me plays best on the wing. His defensive skills are a bit underated as is his long range passing. I personally don't think he has the right mentality to play as a trequarista. I would rather see a Cassano style player there. To me Cassano is the man to share time with DP.
Two DMF's to me is a good combination for our style of play. Paro is a creative player with the ball at his feet, but needs to toughen up to play in the next level. He isn't ready to play in a position that fits him well. In my opinion he had the chance this year to really claim a position on his own. He is too immature at this point. Good backup though. Zanetti and Tacchinardi are both sound players. I think this is a decent midfield combination, but of course adding a player like Gilberto would give us a nice element. Defensive midfielder who can support the attack. Something Paro should do. Zanetti can do that, but is better in a defensive role. Tacchinardi is a pure DMF in my opinion. I like him, but he will be 32 next year and replaceable.

Anyway he did play some good games this season and was fairly good on most games i watched for the viola.
for creativity, i will consider Paro in that department but he will not have a full time job. Another player that i would i want to see in the team is Nocerino from Piacenza.
Then our starting player would be along the lines of mybe mavuba/montolivo and gerrard would be a dream.

1) Everyone has their dislikes Tony...im sure have your reasons also.

3) Robinho is a dream, i would play wherever as long as we get the bst out of him. For me a wing forward supporting a bing man like Trez/Toni/Klose etc, would allow him to create for others.

Yeah, but if we move Nedved to the centre of midfield or place Ribery in the first 11 and give him freedom to create, we will benefit in attacking display. As a destroyer I would rotate Zanetti and for example, Gilberto. I don´t think Paro, Tacchinardi or Marchisio have enough quality to operate in the first team next season.
I agree to an extent. I think that we need a defensive midfielder who can support the attack with excellent passing and vision skills. Unfortunately, Paro has this potential, but is yet to truly excel. At the same time, this is only if Tacchinardi is staying. Most people feel he is leaving along with Giannichedda. I am counting on Zanetti and Paro to be here next year and that is it. If we hold onto Gianni or Tachi, then a more "balanced" CM would be a good choice.

We will guaranteed get at least 3 scoring chances a game no matter what. Good players like Nedved, Camoranesi, Del Piero and Trezeguet can make a few more chances on top of that. Regardless, we should never allow a goal. That needs to be the mentality. That is what it takes to win the scudetto.

That isnt the juventus way, that is the lippi way. In fact to be more accurate that is the crappello way. Which imho is out of date.
Defensively we need to be strong, in fact its core.
But operating one full time dmf is enough, witht the cmf helping out also, along with the wide men tracking the full backs.
However just hoping to convert 1 of three chances is narrow minded imho.
Modern teams do not need two full time DMFs, a holding midfielder combinded with a hardowrking cmf will do the job.
Defending is a team job, thus two men shouldnt be responsible for defending of the defence.
Imho attacking doesnt come naturally, it takes skill and guile to create goals, and in europe we have lacked that recently.
From what i have read you are a fan of the Cappello system, which is respectable, but im not a subscriber to that ethos. A more fluid 433 would be ideal, but that would neve happen.
P.S imho in a 433 you COULD operate the twin DMF system.

3 chances is something every team will automatically get every game. The four players I mentioned above will add a few more to that. If teams don't convert on their opportunities, they are doomed for failure either way.
I know the Juve way isn't exciting, but that isn't the point of football in the first place. If you want to be entertained and watch teams slap the ball around the pitch, perhaps you should follow another squad.
