I am a fan of the Lippi system. Capello uses a very similar system, but lacks the ability to make the right decision at the right time.

3 chances is something every team will automatically get every game. The four players I mentioned above will add a few more to that. If teams don't convert on their opportunities, they are doomed for failure either way.

I know the Juve way isn't exciting, but that isn't the point of football in the first place. If you want to be entertained and watch teams slap the ball around the pitch, perhaps you should follow another squad.

As for players to fit into our system. I like some of the options we discussed. But, one option I will never discuss is to change the way we play. It is a major reason I love Juve.

It´s funny how you like the way Juve plays when there are many people out there which exactly criticise us for that "ugly" and "boring" style of ours. I personally always liked the way we played under Lippi, it was very effective.

I would personally like if we played something like Arsenal played last season in Champions League when they were on spectacular form. They teached us a football lesson back then.

People like to be entertained and play pretty football. I just like to win.

I like the guts and teamwork it takes to win this way. I can see why people think it is boring. But, I can also see why a team like Barcelona can spend big money on individuals and be second in the league to Sevilla. Real Madrid is even worse.

We have a system that works, and has worked for a long time. It is the essense of Italian Football for better or worse. It takes a lot of teamwork to play defense. That is what defense is all about. Let them call it "Ugly" or "Boring", but it takes far more team unity to play the way we play than to just stand in a 4-3-3 and wing the ball around. It is a beautiful style to me. Some people appreciate it other don't.

Arsenal is my favorite Premiership Team. I like the turbo-charged French 4-5-1. Roma plays a similar style. I don't think their pace would hold up week to week in the Serie A. When defenders aren't chasing their attackers, the aggressive style becomes inadequate. Arsenal played very smart last year in CL. This year I think Wenger is building his depth by playing his youths an awful lot. I think Wenger has a plan. Watch out.

But, back to Juventus. I want to find players that fit the mold, more than players that can shape our squad into something new. I would like to see a bit more creativity in CM, but not at the expense of defense. To me, Pirlo is a perfect description of what i'm looking for. Paro is a poor mans Pirlo. Regardless, we need a destroyer next to him, and the Cm needs to be DM first. Attack support second.

Don't forget, Nedved likes to set up atop the box a lot. This allows Chiellini (when he is in his natural position) to overlap. Just because Nedved lines up at SMF, doesn't mean he can only run up and down the line. He doesn't. It is far more sophisticated than that.

Abt. Nedved, spot on. He is positioned on the left flank but he does way more than that, he runs all around the pitch and that is exactly the players we need more in our team. That is why Nedved (together with Davids) are my favourite midfielders.

Those are good choices. I think Ribery could be the next in line to play in that role. As would Robinho.

as good as essien is he is nowhere near makelele is.That guy just adds so much stability and has a way of retaining and then handing out effective passes after he gets possession.Just a great player in his field.

i see essien as more of the gattuso type of player.
