The 'I am sick of the 60 second rule' thread (1 Viewer)

Should the "60 seconds between posts" rule be modified/removed ??

  • Yes, it's a pain in the butt ocks

  • It should be modified to 45/30 seconds

  • It should be adjusted according to the number of posts a member has

  • No, it prevents spamming and makes people think (somewhat) before they post

Nah, the rules is good. It annoys me as well, but it stops some members flooding the forum with useless posts...

Ah, they joys of being exempt. :p IT has its uses. I can't see Martin lifting it any time soon.

I do remember how irritating it was, especially when your turnaround time is about 45 seconds.

On another forum I go to, depending on the members each has a different flood control.

The staff have 0 seconds, some have 30 seconds, some have 45 and others have 60 seconds
