Glenn,

Thanks for all the analysis- its a whole hell of a lot more than RAI International would give.

We do not have La7 here in the US, but I'll find some way to get it !!!! I would have liked to have seen the scrimmage.

if you'r ignoring all the injuries then no. but I won't ignore them.
I don't know exactly how much time he has been injured, but I know it was a long time. and it wasn't just one injury, it was a series of injuries.

so if you'll look at it that way, Trezeguet scored more goals in less time. I know you would say goals is not everything, but Di Vaio has not done anything special either
i'm not saying Di Vaio isn't a good player. I think they are both great players but I prefer Trezeguet

Don't forget that Di Vaio sustained some injuries as well and that it was his first season with Juve.

Trezeguet in his first season did better and in a foreign country. he took Inzaghi's place form the first team.
Di Vaio hasn't suffered too long injuries this year, and he wasn't the player of the year in the previous season

when players like Henry or Van Nistelrooy score so much goals there is a big fuss, but when Trezeguet score so much goals without penalties, you ignore it (btw Henry and VN always take penalties).
and he deserved to be the player of the season no doubt about it!

Players like Henry and Van Nistelrooy don't only score goals, they set them up, something that Trezeguet doesn't do.

obviously I won't convince you two.
I just anxious to know how things would have happen if we didn't have Trezeguet...
maybe we wouldn't have won the scudetto (the first one) and got to the champions league final. Di Vaio almost didn't have any contribution to our champions league campaign (except for the first phase) and he had many awful games in our league campaign.

Both trez and d'vaio are exellent players, but both of them had their fair share of injurys and had bad seasons, it happens, so you'll just have to wait untill the end of next season and all of your answers should be answered :thumb:

    ........FORZA TREZ..............FORZA JUVE.............FORZA D'V................

Hey yeah, just thinking about it.

Divaio and trez had a bad season. And with mostly our main strikers out (taking in consideration that del piero get injured too) were out of the competition, we managed to do it till the end, with a group effort

If we just only could repeat the same teamwork of last year, plus our strikers on form, we will surely rock this year.

Vinman - my pleasure :) If you need more details just ask ;) La7 is not very popular in Italy, it used to be Cecchi Gori's before his bankrupt run, so I'm not sure if you can even get it outside of Italy. Anyway that's the only match they will show so no need to get it :p

PersianMafia - well you can't really judge how they played as a team, but from the highlights you can see how the individuals performed. However I doubt La7 even have a website :(

About DV and Trez. They're both good at what they do, and I think they compliment our attack, one with speed and pace, the other with opportunism and finishing. Both will prove important players for our campaign this season :)
