I'll have to check it out. I'm making this dish tomorrow with some of my own ideas for the 'rents, so if I can't find what I need at Giant, I'll head over there.

Egg noodles with chicken curry sauce. This stuff makes my mouth water.

right now I'm having a high protein shake:

about 9-10 ounces of milk
5 strawberries
15 blue berries
1 banana
2 table spoons of strawberry flavored yogurt
1 scoop of Banana flavored whey protein powder
1 scoop of vanilla flavored milk & egg protein powder

all put in a blender, and the result is a delicious shake.

I love it.

Hope that's a meal replacement. Because otherwise you really should be boring and just mix it with water :pumpkin:

Check this:

No idea what to call it...

2 cans of black beans, drained in collander

1/2 sliced orange bell pepper

1/2 sliced green bell pepper

1 sliced chili (you preference, I used a Jale)

1/2 diced medium sized onion

2 gloves garlic

salt, pepper, oregano, cumin (to taste)

Simmer for 20 minutes

Throw on tortilla with shredded cheese (I chose jack, but again up to you) and

other toppings (sour cream, salsa, rice whatever).

Fold and enjoy, or spoon feed yourself "openface" style.:D

PS. Almost forgot, I put 1 tspn veggie oil at the beginning.:D

This is a cream sauce that I like to make for jumbo lump crab, as per Jack's request.

1 Cup chicken broth
1 Cup white wine
2 Cups half and half
1 Cup heavy cream
4 teaspoons butter
1.5 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons chopped parsley
4 tablespoos chopped green onions
sale
1 tabelspoon lemon juice
4 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
Tabasco to taste (I like a lot of kick, so I add quite a lot of. For normal people, add a few dashes of Tabasco into the sauce)
Few dashes of Old Bay seasoning

What you do first is combine the broth and wine in a skillet and boil until it's reduced nicely, to about 1/2 cup. Then you remove from heat and whisk in the half and half and cream, stirring constantly and slowly until blended. Return that stuff to heat and simmer until it's reduced to around 2 cups. Then you add the butter with flour and parmesan to thicken the sauce.

Add everything everything else, including the crab, heat through, and toss it up with some fresh linguine. HEAVEN!

Andy, that really looks good especially with the slight change that Hustini made but there is still one thing making me wonder, what the fork is 2 cups half and half?

its like half creamer half milk...

from wiki:

In the United States, half and half is a very light cream typically used in coffee. Its butterfat content is about 12.5%,[2] which makes it low-calorie and more stable in coffee. It is widely available in the United States, both in individual-serving containers and in bulk. It is also used to make ice cream. The same product is known as half cream in the United Kingdom.
