I agree, Ferrari cars and merch would be slick as fuck and Jeep is way too narrow of a target audience cos who the fuck is driving a Jeep? Like 10 people. And who is buying a Jeep poster? Like 3 mentally challenged people who also buy douglas costa jersey
they are popular in USA and I have seen more and more of them here in Lithuania. looks like post 2010 models are good again

Distribution of TV rights starting from this season. Sorry if posted before.

Btw we can feel cheated here. They reduced percentage of revenue related to number of supporters, from 30% to 20%. Even worse is that 12% overall amount is allocated based on stadium attendance, while 8% depends on TV audience. What a stupid criteria, because there will always be more fans following game on TV (millions as oposed to 40-50k at stadium) so why would stadium attendance bear more significance for distribution.

50% is shared equally among all clubs.

15% based on last year sucess.

10% based on sucess over the last 5 seasons.

5% historical sucess.

Stadium attendance is a criterium in TV money distribution because it's proportional to league attractiveness in the sense of marketability overseas since it creates a public image to the same degree sporting aspects do. Second most frequent answer among foreigners to the question why they don't watch Serie A is 'the Italians don't even watch it, why would we bother?' Consequently, since shit attendances contribute to ruining our TV Deals it's only fair that those who played a part in this circumstance are punished and vice versa.

What if u have small stadium at full capacity as oposed to 80k seater looking empty half the time?
The smaller arena is the ideal scenario. Whenever you can manage ticketing revenue and attendance by effectively controlling supply and demand of your inventory it’s a good sign.

question of metrics

might be using a formula with %%% of your capacity or a mixed formula with weighted factors but the general idea is justified
Inter might have higher average attendance but their stadium is empty half the time which doesnt help making league attractive. And they are using average attendance figures in there, not % of capacity.

Sure, but the overall appeal of the club, along with viewing figures should have more impact on distribution than stadium attendance.

No, thats why its absurd. We have 28% fans in Italy, while Inter has 17% the last time I checked. So how do you reward the club with highest number of fans, that generates most TV audience? By measly 8% of total amount, which makes Inter earn more than us in this category. Several years ago we earned 110m per season from Seria A tv rights because of different distrubution method.

But in that chart it shows inter has 25.9 million supporters while juventus 23.9 million supporters
