I think we need to stay with Adidas and continue to build our brand which will get us a better deal in a couple years. I think by looking at the top clubs in Europe are all with Adidas or Nike, that should say a lot.
Our deal expires in 2021.I want to know if anyone knows if we can renegotiate it sooner than later ?

I remember we had a discussion around United's deal some yrs ago where a report said United gave up its licensing and merchandising to get this huge deal. That would mean all money from jersey sales go to Adidas i presume ?

In Juve's deal,we have a fixed licensing and merchandising deal worth 6M a yr.
We have bought back those rights a couple of months ago.

Right now we are better on the pitch than the EPL clubs because we are managed very efficiently + because football involves a lot of variables that need to be done right for a squad to fulfill its potential. These variables include the coach's ability, the scouting, the players' form at key moments in the season, the club environment and so on. We get these non-financial variables right and so it offsets our financial disadvantage. The richer EPL clubs are managed very inefficiently wasting money right and left and their coach hirings havent worked out so far so they are not getting the non-financial variables a lot.

The fear is not just that the financial gap is big, the fear is that it is consistently getting bigger at an alarming rate and it seems that this trend will continue for years. Their relative inefficiency won't matter in the long run the bigger that gap gets. Our efficiency can bridge a gap up to a certain point afterwhich we will be too priced out in the market even when it comes to buying youngsters. Whats even worse, sooner or later the richer clubs will get the non-financial variables right even if its by trial and error. They will keep pouring money on their problems until it is fixed and at this point we will be left behind. They have already acquired every top coach there is around and they will do the same with scouts and players and so overtime the financial gap will be reflected on the pitch.

Juve needs some serious CL performances in the next few seasons so that the gap stays the same and we continue to have a shot. To shrink the gap we need Serie A to become competitive again which sadly wont happen anytime soon. Berlu selling Milan can be a good start.

Ok, fair enough. But some leagues would benefit from a shake up. After all, Serie A and Ligue 1 are garbage.
What would the other teams do if such a league existed? Would the teams that participate in the super league also play in their national leagues? How many teams would participate in the super league and how would they be selected? All these are questions that make me doubtful about such a project and its why i wouldnt like it. It would certainly benefit the best teams but what about the rest of the football world? It wouldnt even be worth watching anything other than the superleague then and all other leagues would downgrade to Eredivisie level of crapness

I've read some posts about Ferrari sponsoring Barcelona - that is plain ridiculous and faux. Also Agnelli's do have control over Ferrari, although its a complicated agreement the truest answer is yes. Besides Marchionni is not a man known for his idiotic decisions.

Regarding shirt sponsors - it is a bit more complicated than that. We are getting 30M, but we have our own distribution and merchandising. We could sell our right at any time, but the more we are winning the higher the value. Not to mention an alternative strategy might be even more profitable, considering the margins in retail. Simple math: if Juve makes 20 Euro profit out of every shirt and we've sold say 1,5 mils.

honestly we should get 50m from Adidas and at least 30m from the shirt sponsor.
Sadly we signed with Adidas before the CL final and so on.
While Jeep is cheap simply because it's owned by the family and they're using us as a cheap way to sponsor their auto

Guys while i would apreciate a Super League instead of champions league...

Having just SL wouldn't be good for the teams.
Because you get the best 16teams in Europe but those teams are used to win yearly or almost.
So then you'd have just a winner and 15losers how would that good?
You need the national league. Maybe leagues with less contenders so less games in national league and more games in the Super League.
