I'm not sure about that, but he's a better player than his form or what the fickle consider. He's been hopelessly out of form for us, but that is to do with his near past with Southampton and sporadic appearances. I don't think he's the sort of player who suits grabbing minutes now and then, which is my main concern. When he did well in his career he did it as a regular first choice.

It does when you realise that Conte does not, he sees Tevez, Giovinco and Vucinic as SSs, it doesnt matter how Vucinic and Tevez see them selves, they are fielded like SSs and they play like SS, so they have the SS role.
Conte also needs a player to balance the scheme, that can play like a real target man, thats why he fielded Boriello instead of better options and waited for Llorente and also asked for one more option and got Osvaldo,
because he does not believes that Tevez can play that role...

€40.3m if you add up all the home match revenues as reported in newspapers. for instance repubblica.it reported today's match- Spettatori: 39.334 per un incasso di 1.606.159 euro. VS keeps a record of these.

yeah, Agnelli mentioned Chelsea model in defence of stadium capacity, but I think Chelsea is the wrong comparative. Chelsea is a west London club and Juventus is in Turin. per capita income in west london is a lot higher than Turin, so they can charge a lot more than Juve. so even though Juve's and Chelsea's capacity are the same Chelsea make around €80m while Juve make around €40m. it's one thing that probably can't be helped given the economic conditions of Turin.

times are good now, Juve have won 3 in a row and it's a brand new stadium. would Juve be able to fill 60k in Turin when times are bad? it's hard to tell but given how empty Delle Alpi used to be in its last days 60k is probably not realistic.

delle alpi had running tracks and the stands were far from the pitch, it was worse than olimpico in rome is. I know juve stadium can expand to ~55k, read it somewhere, the whole infrastructure around the stadium is good for that.

anyway, looking at other big clubs, lets say real doubles the income from tickets, barca almost triples, given their matches might even cost more and people still willing to pay. let alone MU or arsenal, people fills the stadium no matter the ticket price
