Did we need to be more aggressive when we went from less than Milaneese level to 2 CL finals in 6 years time ?
I think it's easier to get there than to stay there for good (the top). Look at teams like Atletico, BVB or Monaco to some extent. They reached the top as well but neither of them is going to last for long. Barca, Bayern and Real will buy major players to keep their level, PSG and English clubs will also spend like crazy. Plus, there will be some black horse who might even reach the semis (I'm talking only in regards to next season CL). It means a lot of competition for us. I know it's only speculation so far but if guys like D. Costa, N'Zonzi or Tolisso will not turn out to be great players for us, we will have problems. That's why I think we need to buy some proven players at the top of the game.

I thought we were pretty aggressive last summer.
Obviously, we need to maintain this approach this summer as well.

winno esta unica cosa che counto

it's the club credo

boasting with second places is so 'second place scudetto' napoli style

we need to close gap to real etc asap
When you go from consecutive second places to beeing a frequent CL final contester, you are doing it completely right.

Beeing 'aggressive' is something we always have been when the opportunity rose. We had economic issues to overcome. We went for Dybala when that was less an issue. We reinvested Pogba immediatly.

The first half in the final, what gap ? We domminated real in the first half, after domminating Barcelona and temporary powerhouse (if they didnt sell) Monaco.

There is no gap. We are aggressive if our structure allows it.

We switched 4231. It was insane. We now have points to target : offensive depth, LW, CM.

I'm sure we'll be aggressive as we always have been to adress these.

there is a gap still, the financial one. are we even in the top 10 in the money league? if yes then barely i think. once that gap is closed we are officially a powerhorse again

yep.

The money gap is real.

When you have the power to forcefully buy verrati and mbappe then you can talk about power
We can buy those players, Higuain's transfer is proof of that. However, we cannot afford to pay the kind of salaries the English clubs are offering, we just can't. It will break our wage structure.

That's true, although our operating costs tend to be way lower than the other teams in top 10.

The Bianconeri finalise agreement today with China’s leading company in mineral water production

Juventus announces that China’s leading mineral water firm, Ganten Water, will be the club’s Official Water Partner for three seasons starting on 1 July 2017.

The agreement, signed today during a press conference held in Shenzen, confirms the Bianconeri’s growing appeal to international companies investing in global markets that view the club as a reliable business partner with whom to develop their status in Europe and the rest of the world.

Giorgio Ricci, Co-Chief Revenue Officer and Head of Global Partnerships and Corporate Revenues at Juventus, said this during today’s press conference:

“It is with great pleasure that we welcome Ganten Water into our group of Global Partners at Juventus. Today we have signed a contract with a leading company in the mineral water sector operating in a prime market such as China’s and who see Juventus as a strategic partner for entering the markets in Europe and the rest of the world.

“This agreement is completely coherent with a strategy we’ve already embarked on at Juventus, which is witnessing the club’s continued development on an international level.”

“We share with Juventus the pursuit of excellence and drive towards innovation,” declared Zhou Jing Liang, Chairman of Ganten Water.

“Juventus is a club that boasts many footballing records and benefits from the highest level of international exposure. This is why we are proud to announce this partnership today. We are certain that, from here, we can grow together both in China and the rest of the world.”

The deal with Ganten Water further reinforces Juve’s relationship with China which is expanding both in terms of regional partnerships already in existence with other brands, but also on-pitch success such as the Super Cup victories in Beijing (2012) and Shanghai (2015), not to mention last year’s inauguration of the first Juventus Academy in Shanghai.

Furthermore, the Bianconeri are increasingly active on Chinese social media. Besides having a Chinese language version of the official website, Juventus.com/cn, the club is also building its fan base on the social platforms, Tencent and Sina Weibo.
