Regarding this year's transfer market. Management must assume some kind of increase in revenue to cover Higuain's expenses. If the reports are true Higuain's annual effect on the income statement will be:

Salary 8m+taxes 8 million+depreciation(94 fee/4 years) 23,5 million=39,5 million.

Pogba wasn't depreciated since we got him for free so we only had to expense his net wages and taxes, 9-10 million.

Difference is around 30 million each year for the next 4 years.

Interesting.

So the 94m will be paid in 4 installments?:D

No, judging by the reports it will probably be paid in two. But the purchase price will be distributed for 4 years (the lifetime of his contract) in the financial statements. Since he will be signing a four year contract the cost is distributed to reflect that. Basically, it will be paid in two years but it effects four years in the financial statements. :)

On the plus side when we renegotiate that contract, we'll have firmly established ourselves in the top4.

Good luck explaining the fans you arent giving a top4 sponsership deal

Well what's the point of doing those tour without 90% of our international players? what's the point of going and playing with kids??
I always get annoyed by this crap! all the fans expecting to see their idols but getting deluded... marketing? way to go!

I agree with this, but we can't risk our players fitness and happiness for those marketing purposes.

And real fans will come to the tour matches, regardless if the legends are playing or if its the reserves or our kids.
