Monaco can continue to play in France's Ligue 1 after agreeing to pay €50m for the right to remain exempt from the country's tax laws.

The club had been threatened with expulsion from the league after the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) voted last year to restrict admission, as of next season, to clubs whose head-offices are located in France. This decision was intended to strip Monaco of the privileges it enjoys by being based in a tax haven.

A flat tax translates to a regressive tax in practice due to the diminished marginal spending at higher income levels, such a tax is neither economically efficient, nor just in pretty every definition of the word.
You don't have a clue what you're talking about bro. Flat means exactly that - neither regressive nor progressive. Marginal propensity to consume has nothing to do with that, you might be confusing VAT with income tax. Also, just is a matter of opinion, but how exactly is it not efficient?
