So we can safely say we've maxed our matchday revenues? Frankly if that's the case, those numbers are a letdown, sure they look decent compared in Italy (atm when noone else has their own stadium), but even the likes of hamburg, shalke and galatasaray make more or close to us.
That 40k capacity was just a bad decision from our management. 50000 cap would've been the more appropriate number, bcuz if you look at our heyday in the 90s, our average attendances were easily over 40k even in that lame delle Alpi stadium, with all its shortcomings.
That capacity, would've increased our matchday revs from 38m to 50 at least.

No we haven't maxed out on our stadium revenues.

Longer runs in the CL, increasing ticket prices (sequentially), hosting more non-football events (concerts etc), installing new sky-boxes (hue source of match-day revenue)

Our potential to increase these revenues is still there. Our commercial numbers are much more disappointing IMO.

Agnelli is trying to push our revenues to 300M. Hopefully he can do it.

I wonder why our match day revenues are so low compared to others.
Because of the tiny stadium. Even Galatasaray, which people made fun of, have a stadium with %20 bigger capacity.

Once the other Italian teams build their new stadiums, we'll have the smallest among them.

Look what they said about Chelsea.

The same will apply to us in a few years. Small capacity will limit our growth after certain point. Never been satisfied with decision to reduce capacity and considering Italian economy we've reached, or very close to reaching the maximum price/attendance adjustment. In a time when you can see every game on internet, free, what would be the incentive for people to spend 50-60 euros each week, when they have other priorities to consider. This year there are less sell outs and one of the reasons might be our continuous increase of ticket prices. We'll have one advantage over the EPL clubs though, which might reduce, but not entirely eliminate the negative effects of current capacity; broadcasting revenue. There is higher disparity between Italian top and bottom clubs in this segment.

Yeah, I doubt we can even get near to Chelsea, our fans would riot if we put our prices even close to theirs. They can get away with it simply being in London.

But with new EPL tv deal ,top EPL clubs would be getting as much as Juve.

Great for them and that will definitely leave us further behind. Commercial segment is where we need to step up as it has the most room for improvement.

I've read few months ago that Italian antitrust authority might take a look into current distribution of television funds. Allegedly they have grudge that historic aspect and number of supporters are used in determining distribution figures. I tried to find the article, as I remember posting it somewhere here, but no success. Hopefully nothing comes out of it.
