CAF (Federal Appeals Court) reaches decision on Agricola

The long-running trial of Dr. Riccardo Agricola, which began back in 1998 after the accusations of Zdenek Zeman and the resulting investigations by the Turin magistrature, has finally come to an end. During the hearing the CAF, chaired by Dr. Mastandrea, rejected the appeal launched by the CONI’s (Italian Olympic Committee) anti-doping prosecutor, upholding the case presented by Agricola’s lawyer Chiappero. The definitive inviability of the disciplinary action regarding Dr. Agricola was therefore established, and today his long and laborious ordeal is now officially over.

Finally...

although the result of the appeal came out positive I still feel far from happy. We, as Juventus tifosi have already been suffered a lot over past 8 years on these non-existed facts.

Now, I would like to hear from Zeman bastard and his stupid prosecutor friend to say sorry to Juve and her tifosi

Its all part of the anti-juve war...
They couldn't win against us with the doping trial because they did not have evidence. Now they have evidnce, fake ones, faked by moratti's men (phone transcribts are quesionable since the company is directed by Interista plus both paties involved in the action said that those are misinterpt phone calls) so they demoted us.
They will never destroy us. One year from now we will be kicking inters but again.

Court: Statute of limitations expired for doc

ROME (AP) - Italy's highest court ruled Thursday that the statute of limitations had expired on sporting fraud charges against a Juventus team doctor and the club's chief executive accused of doping, news reports said.

Prosecutors made its final appeal to the Court of Cassation after a Turin appeals court on Dec. 14, 2005 overturned the conviction of physician Riccardo Agricola and upheld the acquittal of chief executive Antonio Giraudo in the case.

Agricola originally was convicted of administering banned substances, including the hormone EPO, to Juventus players from 1994-98. He was handed a suspended sentence of 22 months in November 2004.

Giraudo was acquitted in the case, but prosecutors appealed the verdict to the Turin court.

The high court said the prosecutors were justified in appealing the previous decisions, but that the statute of limitations on the charges had expired, the ANSA and Apcom news agencies reported.

The high court ruling closes a high-profile case that began in 1998 after allegations by then-AS Roma coach Zdenek Zeman.
