Libero, I don't mean to imply that Collina is yours, personally. But, I was at that game and Collina awarded that non-existant penalty in Milan's favor right in front of my seat. Without doubt, that was the worst call I have ever seen against Juventus (and Collina has made several).

    This matter was discussed in the last board meeting, and they consider is still premature to put Umberto`s son or any of the Elkann boys in that role. Jhon Elkan, BTW, is having regular meetings with Giampiero Bonperti in order to prepare him to become Juve chairman....
    Right, so they're following the same succession pattern at Juve as they are at FIAT.

    And I completely subscribe to that : Collina is an excellent ref, but the attempt by the media (or Collina's own ability) at painting him as this infallible Robocop of refereeing is way out of proportion.

    Well stated, my friend.

    Today is the summing-up of the prosecution, according to which blood tests have revealed the routine administration of EPO to Juve players. EPO has been given on a regular basis albeit in lower quantities to some players, and in particular it has been given in higher quantities to Conte and Tacchinardi to accelerate their recovery.

    Ok technically you're not busted yet, but it looks a lot like you are about to be.
    May I suggest you read "L'Odore dei soldi" "the bad smell of money" about MILAN PRESIDENT B E R L U S C O N I?

    "Al Cavaliere sono bastati due anni, dalla vittoria dell'Ulivo, per rovesciare tutte le situazioni in suo favore: ha liquidato la Bicamerale dopo essersene servito a dovere; ha convinto almeno la metà degli italiani di essere un perseguitato dalla magistratura per scopi politici;to the "cavalier" two year were enough after the victory of the left in order to reverse the situation in his favour. He eliminated the parliament commission and convinced half of the Italians to be a victim of discrimination by the law for political reasons

    si è fatto osannare in Parlamento perché qualcuno, manovrato chissà da chi, gli aveva piazzato il famoso 'cimicione' in casa per spiarlo, attentando alla Costituzione; ha cancellato i debiti e iniziato ad accumulare utili da capogiro, fino a diventare l'uomo più ricco d'Italia con un patrimonio stimato in 30.000 miliardi di lire; ha ottenuto di far passare tutte le leggi sulla giustizia che gli servivano per far scattare la prescrizione di gran parte dei reati di cui è incolpato da varie procure; ha fatto di Forza Italia il primo partito; ha steso al tappeto Fini e Bossi, che ora gli ubbidiscono ciecamente; ha ripreso saldamente in mano la leadership del Polo che nel '96 tutti contestavano; ha paralizzato la già lungua transizione italiana avviata da Mani pulite e ora lavora con successo alla restaurazione, reclutando vagonate di vecchi arnesi della Dc e del Psi."[Editori Riuniti]he was hailed by parliament because somebody had put a micro in his home to spy on him thus attacking the contitution; he canceled debts and started to set aside unbelievable gains up to becoming the richest man in Italy with assets arounf 15 billion €; he was able to pass laws on justice that expire the terms for prosecuting most of the crimes he has been indicted of by several prosecutors; he swell Forza Italia to be the first party in Italy; he knocked out Fini (neo-fascit) and Bossi (ultranationalist) and made them his b****es, he is again the master of the right after having been discussed; he has paralized the dismanteling of the old regime by the judges and is now working at reintegrating old corrupt politicians from Christian Democrats and Socialists;

    xziz,

    You are a clown, my friend. Football does not = politics. But the saddest thing is that you avoid addressing my points by bringing up things I am aware of and to which I subscribe. This is really a dialogue of the deaf so I shouldn't waste any more time on it.

    Just for the record, I attended the presentation of Marco Travaglio and Elio Veltri's book "l'odore dei soldi" at the Hotel Renaissance (if I remember corectly) here in Brussels in 2002. Also, I had previously already met Travaglio personally in Bologna - one brilliant journalist that reminds me a bit of the great Montanelli. But you will turn a deaf ear, so let's leave it at that.

    I am shivering at your revelation. Do you think it may be possible, in your case, brain development does not match body development?

    BTW who is going to succeed Berlusconi as a president of MILAN? Perhaps John Gotti Jr. from the Gambino family?

    Can we please try to keep this thread on point, as it is the only source I have on the Juve trial. I live in a land where Italian football hardly gets a mention in the media :down:, so I rely on this forum for the trial updates. We have enough slagging contests in other threads anyway.

    Paduan', I don't know if you are relying on me to get updates on the doping trial, but I will assume you are. Im afraid you will have to find new sources tho as I am tired of seeing my attempts at encouraging a constructive debate ruined by the likes of ZIZI (that's French for "small dick").

    Not scary, but certainly well-proportioned (which earns me quite a few "complimenti alla mamma" from the ladies), and only thanks to a healthy Mediterranean diet combined with a regular exercise routine. None of that creatine and EPO junk for me, thank you.
