Well you generalised so quickly, are you telling me a speech by pope Urban II, as cruel as it was, the accounts werent biased. Your statement only has relevance if it is talking about what jesus did or what done against him. it doesnt apply to the matter of his existence. A biased view cannot question the existence of something only question the actions.
I suggest we test his historical knowledge about christian hate. Because, as we all know, badass knows his history.

When farmers gathered for the first crusade, they were supposed to wait at Constantinople. Do you know what they did instead, badass?

well isnt that diferent to judaism then? not eating kosher, female rabbi. it sounds like its picking and choosing what it wants from the jewish religion.
Another thing that annoys me about religion these days .
There are so many different parts of each religion , every sect claiming it is the truth and the rest are lies etc.. suni - shiaa etc ...

Come on Seven, that's just misrepresenting what he posted. If he explicitly stated that Christianity was formed with that intent, please quote the post.

BD, you're still not posting any evidence for this, just one point of speculation.
As you wish:

as i said b4, no1 actually knows for sure that jesus ever existed, could be one big fairy tale myth as an excuse to hate the jews. p.s without really offending anyone here i find it really hard to believe how the virgin mary could give birth to a baby that was God's son, i mean sorry it just makes no sense to me, and to resurrect after his own death? and to walk on water? sorry i just simply dont buy that.
if you didnt happen to know christianity was later accepted as the main religion throughout the roman empire, so who's to say the books wern't re written then to hate the jews?
Combined with later posts, it gives you this conclusion:

'Christianity was created as an excuse to hate Jews. The Romans formed a union with the christians they persecuted, because they both hated Jews. But it is only come Constantine in the 4th century AC the hatred towards Jews is evident in the christan belief.'

Which makes me say these christians are quite intelligent for looking 300 years into the future when they created a religion they knew was going to be used as an excuse to hate Jews.

Thank you. Seven.

BD, could you state your position clearly, giving one piece of evidence we can debate? If not, we might was well end this now before we start going in circles and name calling out of frustration.

im posting what i believe and brought up to believe in, which is why im simply skeptical about alot of whats been put forward. whether im right or wrong is another matter, if you think christianity did not later re write its books to put the jews solely responsible for the death of jesus and encouraged to hate jews for it then thats fine i totally respect that view, but its what i believe and simply the way i think. Im not trying to preach, and neither do i hate none jews, i Believe in the 1 god and most of the beliefs of the jewish faith, just not things like kosher which i dont believe god justified.

The odd thing is I have been posting nothing but facts and you have been posting nothing but inflammatory speculations. You're not skeptical at all.

You mean you were brought up believing christianity was a scam so people would hate Jews?

But I have facts. Facts that prove your hypothesis is dead wrong, yet you keep on claiming it.

could be, like i said theres no real proof that jesus really existed, and if he had then after christianity was accepted they used the jews as a scapegoat to hate them simply because they believe the jews are solely responsible for the murder of their messiah, but im not saying all christians hate jews, but especially in the middle ages thats what people believed

wasnt jesus' followers jewish? or at least most of them, and jesus was jewish, or so we're lead to believe up till his death, so really what right do christians have in hating the jews?
i never said they had the right, but thats a primary reason why they do.

    :D

This might actually be true. I know you're basically just repeating what I have said before, but after all these hours you got it just about right.

    Only, who is "they"?

i think it was just more of you misunderstanding me

they being those who preached the faith in those days, i.e the priests as in the middle ages the priests and the well off were the only people that could read or write

This is another thing that bothers me. "What ifs" and "buts" are always okay, right? Because, they're just "what ifs" and "buts", right?

No, it was you saying this:

'Christianity was created as an excuse to hate Jews. The Romans formed a union with the christians they persecuted, because they both hated Jews. But it is only come Constantine in the 4th century AC the hatred towards Jews is evident in the christan belief.'
    Anyway, it doesn't matter anymore.

    Reason 1 - Badass 0

The argument is pretty much over I guess.

exactly. you cant just say what if, icould say 'what if hitler hadnt existed' that wont change what really happenened. badass relies far too much on this.
