The defense look really good if you compare it with other teams. Most of them are players who had a lot playing time in Serie A and defenders from other countries are youth players or defenders in lower divisions.

B4 (Battachio, Berardi, Belotti, Bernardeschi) is sometimes genius, yeah i like this squad.

Our squad (Netherlands/Holland) didn't even reach the EK, the coach is a noob who F**ckd it up :(

Some decent players in the squad I like all 3 'keepers, Romagnoli Rugani, Zappacosta, Cataldi, Sturaro, Berardi.

Not seen much of Belotti, Bernardeschi and Baseli but they are rated highly.

It's the first time that the U21's defense seems good in a while but I don't expect them to win the tournament.

Interesting to see how Berardi does.

One of the best U21 teams out there for sure.
Germany has a strong squad as well, but the rest i don't know...
Italy can win it.

Forza Azzurrini!

Probably just lacking a quality #9 to give themselves a better chance of winning. Federico Bonazzoli and Alberto Cerri are in the next batch of players, although the latter struggled for form after a serious injury last year.

Yeah doubt Belotti will be enough as a scorer for them to get anywhere.

Starting eleven will probably be:

Bardi

Zappacosta - Bianchetti (C) - Rugani - Biraghi

Sturaro - Baselli - Cataldi

Berardi - Belotti - Bernardeschi

Weakness points are Biraghi and Belotti prolly positionally speaking, for them to do real damage. Romagnoli and Sportiello very promising talents/seasons, but Bardi and Bianchetti will prolly bench them for one is the nr 1 goalie for most of his azzurrini tenure, and the other is the captain, despite Romagnoli being better.

Biancchetti over Romagnoli?
