Thats the problem, you get used to screwing around and then you settle down for whatever the reason is, but this is not the point. The alarming fact is that even in the arab community I am seeing Arab couples move in together to test the waters! That is really against our culture let alone religion. And of course this happens for those who are abroad and away from family!!

Different religious beliefs ya Yamen. Nedved is not a muslim, so marriage for him is probably not as serious as it is for us.
In Christianity marriage is very serious. Although I'm more of an Agnostic, so it's one of the reasons I don't take marriage seriously.

What do you guys think of marrying a non arab girl, if we say she converted to Islam ??
2 of my father's friends married a foreign girl who converted to Islam. Pain the in the ass if you like Arabic food, cause they'll never learn to cook it properly.

What's more alarming to me, eno el shab bado ysa7eb bent la yerkabha we yel3ab feha, ye7kela kelmeten 7elween la yel3ab berasha, bas bel neheye ma bado yetzawaj ila men benet mesh beyesha men temha el imha.

Not yet but hopefully soon once I am done University nshala next semester :p
I agree with that point and it pisses me off. Few months ago me and my friends were talking about this, we were asking would you marry your current girlfriend, or a girl you've known before, and all of them said "noway, after all what we did and all we seen, no way" They said they'd want to marry one that never been with a guy before and like you said "mesh beyesha men temha el imha"
Really pissed me off, why screw around and in the end marry one who you barely know just because she never been out before.
Why ruin the reputation of another girl, who'll struggle to get married because of you and then marry another girl?

Oh, you better eat mana2eeesh ASAP, because everytime I eat one I feel guilty as I remember that I have friends in Canada USA and UK who are dying to eat mana2eesh. :p

Thats the problem! I am not talking about religion here, its us Arabs in general. Ne7na damna 7ami w ma bnerda 7adan yettala3 3al benet elli ma3na nos tatle3a ghalat. Yet, bas el wa7ad ykon ma3 wa7da all he wants is to go down there and fool around. W akeed the next thing you know once she becomes an Ex-GF inno hay benet ma bteswa w som3etha betseer bel ard. I believe inno el zawaj ad ma howwa commitmnet bas be7faz lal madam e7teramha bel 2awal w bel akher.

Exactly, and it pisses me off. If you love this girl and think you might have a future with her, no one would blame you if you fooled around, but the end married her, or at least don't ruin her reputation when you break up. I lost a huge deal of respect when my friends said that they wouldn't marry their girlfriends. One quote from a friend of mine 'ba3d kol 2l 3melto ma3ha, wel marat 2l wasalt-ha 3a beet-ha ba3d 2l 12 beleil, bedak yani 2tjawazha? bterda 3a 7alak tetjawaz sharmo6a?' Not the exact quote, but that some of what I remember of it. It was when I asked if him if he would marry his current girlfriend. That girl is a virgin, yet he called her a sharmo6a because she stays out late and they did some minor stuff like kissing and touching, I can't imagine what he would call her if they did worse!

As for the living together before marriage, I think I disagree with you there, Yamen. I know it's against our social morals, and against religion (or so it is) but (Speaking of myself) If I want to spend the rest of my life with someone, I at least would like to know how it will be to live with that one. Dating isn't enough and doesn't reveal everything. When you live together before marriage, you have the power to stop what would be a big mistake (biggest mistake of your life?), or you can have the choice to carry on and marry after knowing that this is the human you want to live to the very end of your life with. Divorce ain't easy, especially in christianity.
How many girls end up living a nightmare after the honeymoon when they discover that they married a wife beating scum?
Such stuff could easily get known when living together before marriage. Dating doesn't tell the whole story. I know like 5-6 cases where girls ended up marrying a guy that beats them up, a guy that locks them up and goes marry another one or even leave the country and etcetera....
Such things are hard to discover, and usually get known after a marriage. How could you tell if this guy is a wife beater or not? It's almost impossible to know (Unless he was previously married and did the same, and has a reputation of it)

As I said, I'd like to live with the girl I want to marry for at least few months before I marry her. Even tho that would work against my advantages, as I doubt any girl would manage to sleep more than hour next to me. She'd wake up the next morning with a black eye at least. :D Although it can be solved by sleeping on separate beds. (I'm quite a karate champion when I sleep)

I can't wait and stop teasing me for heaven's sake :D

I made ma2lobe today, but I didn't have eggplant, otherwise, it would have been better, but overall the meal was great. I would say only one thump up, two up if it wasn't for the eggplant :(
