:agree: America's justice system is severely flawed, and I think a lot of people are starting to realize this by how full our prison's are and how broke our government is especially in California. There is a lawsuit in the California supreme court over the horrible prison conditions because of overcrowding and underfunding, if it passes the state will be forced to release 25% of its prison population. Basically anybody who is in prison for a short term or non violent offense is getting out early, it is ridiculous how bad it is gotten, now the state is trying to steal money away from citizens because they blew all of our tax money away and refuse to stop funding illogical social programs, last speeding ticket i got ended up draining 450$ from my pocket, California is a great state, to bad our stupid ass state government is fucking it up
That will cause a massive ruckus. I don't know if its a matter of whether they should be convicted or not. Its more the senctencing thats flawed. Anyone on a life sentence for non-violent offences (except Bernie Madoff) should have their sentences shortened.
