Only watched highlights, but I couldn't believe how bad he was against City on those conceded goals. It's not even about his skills letting him down. Zero effort, zero concentration. He patently did not want to have a crack. Even in a dead rubber match at a joke tournament in 40 degree heat, that's unacceptable at Juve.
Like... look @ 7:49 ... he looks at Matheus, gives him a weak nudge and then stops running (pretending to play the offside trap no doubt) - either watch Matheus and jostle him or watch the ball and cut the pass. And that effort @ 7:30 to cover as well.
When you're trying to find form and impress a new manager, the least you can do is put in a shift. Shows how this squad doesn't have any senior players (leaders) that can convey that to him or drive those standards.
