At the match against Al Pain, there was this family of white people with very similar complexion to Koopmeiners. At first I thought they were his family because they kept cheering at him and he ended up waiving back to them before the match on a couple occasions. As the match went on, I saw they were holding up a sign. It said, "Pennsylvania Loves Koopmeiners."

So, clearly they weren't family, but rather Pennsylvania Dutch bretheren, most likely from Lancaster County where all the Amish people live. Or in other words, losers. Just like Koopmeiners.

Well taken goal but aside from that it’s been largely much of the same from him, not yet convincing enough despite showing glimpses of adapting better to Tudor’s tactics compared to Motta’s.

I'm absolutely sure players at Atalanta are using steroids over there. This guy's balding heavily at 26 which is a clear indicator. Along with his consistent muscle aches. He knows it as well, he's just making excuses he's not fully fit.

Covering Nunes in the box is really basic stuff, elementary.

We must bring in Agricola again.

Make it 9 with Vlahovic.
5 if you include Kelly, Kostic, Kalulu and Nico

Has anyone actually watched Koopmeiners at Atalanta? Honestly, aside from the games he played against Juve, I hadn't seen much of him myself. I just don’t get how he was considered a star there. Can a player really look this different? He’s been straight-up awful, I don’t even know what his role is supposed to be on the pitch.

He never impressed me any time I seen him play so the hype never made sense to me but I wanted to believe it was justified.

Like seriously when we’ve seen how tight Atalanta were holding on to him and the fact they wouldn’t let him leave for even a penny less than their initial asking price really helped the hype, and then our management’s insistence of desperately pushing for him several several months in a row definitely got many of us fooled that he’d be some kind of savior.

He was good, especially in the last season.
