Funnily enough, if you pay attention to news across all big leagues, you'll see each big club coming out with a statement how several players got injured and how they'll miss the international matches. You can see in Real Madrid, City, Arsenal and pretty much every club chasing the title I think. It's laughable how neither clubs nor players themselves give a shit about the upcoming matches/national competitions during the league. Once the international break is over you'll see statements how they all had a very fast recovery and how they are back on training, starting in the next match.
Sadly Teun seems to have cracked his rib but I wouldn't blame club that did that. The number of useless games just keep piling up.

After having left the Dutch camp due to a crack in the rib, Koopmeiners will, in these hours, go to the JMedical to undergo more specific tests that will definitely clarify the extent of the problem. The worst case scenario is a long stop, with the player born in 1998 only being able to be back early November (he would therefore miss the games against Lazio, Stuttgart, Inter and Parma).

Fractures usually take around 6 week. The fact it's dislocated might mean it could take longer.

But the way they use the word slightly is promising so he will probably be back alot sooner.
