Best goalkeeper in the league - check
Best defender in the league - check
Best midfielder in the league - check
Top 2-3 striker in the league - check

We have built a very strong team. The ball is in Motta's court to make everything click at this point.
i also remember in 2009/2010 when people said same thing about buffon best goalie, chiellini being best cb, melo being best mid and diego being best attacking mid.

then juve finished 7th after a impressive start too.. melo and diego were big flops

let's hope it's not a repeat

It's hard to compare that team which was coached by Ferrara who was only an assistant before. We also had some average and poor players back then. Right now we genuinely have a strong team. One thing that's good too in this mercato is the purchased players are not random, there's an intention. Motta and Junetoli seem to be in sync as far as the choices. I think Kalulu was the the odd one but I actually think he'll do well, just have a feeling that he'll be a very reliable player.

You have a point.
But we also had the best goalie, midfielders and defenders between 2012-15 and then best goalie, defenders and attackers from 2015-2020 and won all the league titles.

Koopmeiners is a modern day #10. He's got all the classic #10 traits and skills, but he's also wokring hard and puts in a great press. There's a reason we only targeted Koop and not a profile similar to Koop. He will take us to the next level i'm sure of it.

so for people not understanding why it had to be him and why juve insisted on him

1- really great with longshots. juve hasn't had a long shot monster midfielder since pogba almost 10 seasons back in 2015. now it has that

2- comfortable with dribbling and holding the ball under press. again not seen since pogba from a midfielder

2- he is going to play AM/CM, but because he used to play DM years back and because he is 1.84m he is big and strong and can press and win balls . important for winning the ball both high up the pitch to put pressure and also coming back to defend.

he's basically like vidal was to juve earlier. not that he is like vidal as a player, but in that he fills multiple roles on the pitch.

fantastic signing.

So basically he's a hybrid of Vidal, Nedved and Pogba.

Didn't know he was that good.

Damn, im gonna hype him so hard in the coming days.

what strikes me the most about Koopmeiners is his strange shot technic, which produces laser shots. I didnt see such a strong shotting ability probably since Higuain. Hopefully he can score plenty for us.

Would've been a scudetto with D'Agostino :ghey:
