what shit? he told the club months ago that he wanted to leave. now they are simply delaying the deal for the sake of it. petty power play, just like when adl said giuntoli wasn't going anywhere until he allowed him to. the only point is to mess with juve and the player

but if he gets koop for the rumored 55m, thas a VERY good deal for one the best goal scoring AM in football.
to give you guys perspective. bruno frenandes was signed by manu for 80m in 2020. de bruyne cost man city 75m in 2015!
juventus is lucky that other top clubs either don't need a AM or don't play with one because if there was a bidding war he would easily go for 70m in todays pricing market.

again, they've been knowing about the player's intention to leave for months, way before the mercato even begun. they've been reported to have a gentleman's agreement, they agreed to let him leave. it's not about koopmeiners suddenly forcing his way out, it's about atalanta delaying the inevitable for the sake of it and posing as victims

The key thing is- they’re great signings on paper. They could still massively flop (or become overnight successes). That’s why people should wait before passing judgment. Some folks here made up their mind about hating Giuntoli from day one, and I can’t understand why. He was never going to fix Juve in one transfer window or even one year after the mess he was handed.
Doesn't need to be applauded but is absolutely a staple of modern football, there is hardly any loyalty anymore.
I recall quite a few players who wanted out of Juve under Marotta and we gladly obliged without getting to this point. People didn't agree with that method either, some suggesting that we hold a player ransom, which doesn't benefit anyone. My view has always been that if a player wants to leave let them leave, as long as you get a decent fee.
Personally, if Koop said to Atalanta months back that he wanted to leave and they said they would accommodate him, then they've changed their mind (either because it's Juve or not) and say they won't sell him then this is to be expected. Players control so much, and we're experiencing that ourselves.
