Im afraid that he’s great for Atalanta’s level, but not for a team that eventually wants to compete in the CL
That may (or may not) be the case. But 'eventually' is probably at least 4-5 years down the line... I wouldn't worry about that right now.

We are not in the business of competing in CL anytime soon.

Forget CL, we haven't come close to competing for the scudetto in the last 4 seasons.

It's a long road ahead for JJ to become a CL contender. For now, we need to get back to the top domestically and signing one of the best mids in the league will help achieve that.

I was skeptical about this transfer, but really he is a great addition to out team. I really want him here.

U never know, same could be said a out last years Borussia, once u promote from the group anything can happen. Luck is the biggest factor in CL.

We spent to much time on him. Make them offer like 45m + 5 which I think is already high if not take that kid from Monaco the AM + Adeyemi, loan Tobido and close the market, focus on the team and training.

Akliouche should be signed for RW, and be backup AM/LW, but we still need to get starting AM if we can't get Koopmeiners.

Also PSG showing interest in Akliouche so we need to pounce before it's too late lol

The problem is that we think it will be 4-5 years, but Marotta got us there much quicker than we ever thought. What if we're looking like a Champions League contender in 2 years? We'll not be able to move him on and he'll be too expensive to replace.

Whoever we buy for each position needs to be the guy who will play when we lift the big ears. Otherwise don't bother.

soule would have bigger impact than this guy and he got sold for 28, they ask 50 million for this turd. giuntoli is an embarrassing charlatan, i gave his verdict when he tried to swap vlahovic with lukaku. it is quite a big achievement to spend 150 - 200 million(100 million already spent and we are still short of a mf, cf, rb(?) and two wingers) and have an arguably weaker team.
