Great movie. It turns out to be completely different, than you would expect it. Really great!
Yeah, but im more talking about the anti-consumerism message behind it.

yeah, I guess German television is really stupid and idiotic. However, I enjoy watching TV and movies. If I wouldn't watch TV, I would have never seen movies like "The Godfather" (my favourite movie of all time) or "The big Lebowski". Dan, please don't tell me you don't know the godfather?
You dont need TV to see movies, but Movies are good. Thats totally different from mainstream television. And of course i know the godfather.

@ A_LAcki, The Godfather has to be the greatest movie of all time. For crying out loud, the damned movie is 33 years old, and yet you see people quoting copiously from it, not to forget the fact that virtually every mafia thriller since 1972 copied from it unashamedly in large quantities.

well yeah, thats because there are not really new good movies. Be honest, when was the last time you have seen a movie and said "Wow, that will be a classic!" A long time.....

I was quoting South Park the movie. When America was about to attack Canada, and the white general was drawing his battle plans, the plan called for the black troops to be sent into battle first, and a black soldier stood up to speak. That was the opening exchange of the dialogue.

IMO its the best. I was sad when it ended, because I wanted the movie to go on! It thrilled me till the last scene!

I don't watch much television, partly because for some reason my house doesn't get good reception, but mostly because the time i spend watching TV is better spent in front of my computer or out of the house.

    I watch:

    1. The news
    2. Football
    3. Documentaries/history

My TV hasn't been working since the new year, and i havent watched any TV since (except for public places or at friends). I dont even miss it. I download the TV shows that i like, and go to pubs for the games, or stay at home try to get a stream while i'm broke or cant be botherd.

    I Watch:

    1. Documentaries (disc,nat'l geo,travl n advertr etc)
    2. Sports
    3. Reality Shows(not all)

All not found on local channels, Local channels here suck, All they have are soap operas, telenovelas and more of them. They hardly have original stories and might as well be TOTTI's production for the stories' stupidity and lack of common sense.
