a bit disappointing, cause they didn't play their usual style, they played more towards drum and bass, cause thats what the english prefer. Usually they play more techtro, thats a word i just invented, meaning electronic techno :D
Hmm, have to disagree about the D+B thing, I'm English and I can't stand the stuff. Electro-tech is one of the most if not the most popular genre of dance music (amongst those who actually know what they are on about) where i come from

DJ's should play what they want when they want, you don't book trance DJ's to play D+B the same way you don't go to a UB40 concert expecting to hear heavy metal! I wouldn't blame their style on the English. Lets face it benny Benassi is toss and Picotto is way way past it now...

thats cool micky slim is supporting dave spoon, both of them would be great 2see.
but i know what you mean about the chavs that wud put me off. the one good thing about it though is that they always know how to enjoy themselves and create a decent atmosphere (as long as they are not bottling you)

unfotunatly 99% of clubs in glasgow are pish and just play RnB or cheese (especially the ones my mates like going to). but Glasgow gets big name djs almost everyweek if you look out for them coming. there are nights for every genre of dance which is pretty cool. The problem recently for me is that the people running the best house night in town seem to just be booking the same acts over and over. its always Digweed or Masiello, a little too progressive for my liking. i wish they would look at other djs like axwell, dirty south or laidback luke.

fortunatly a new club opened; the one which booked arno cost and also brought dirty south recently. so its looking good!
Hmm yeah its a familiar problem here. Our one good house club night called perfect motion, the club it was on at were being arsey with the promoter and now its turned into a R+B night every sat! Foooookin stinks! Thankfully PM has found a new better venue and hopefully this will attract some good dj's. I would kill to see Dirty South, thats my next aim cos I've seen Ramirez, gonna see Spoon so only one to go!

My friend said the same thing as me. I have songs of Benassi that never really went commercial and i really like them, so was really disappointed at what he played. Picotto didn't really know what to expect, so he didn't disappoint me too much

will you be going to that one Michael?
I'm definately going to Rother, Penton and Pete Tong, Gelderblom depends on my friends

Rother was in Croatia 2 years ago i think but i didn't have money at the time to go , he was playing in Zagreb which is like 3-4 hour drive from my hometown , i'm hoping he will come again and then there's no way i'm missing that.

Hope you have a good time. :rulz:

Saw the one and only Mr Dean Marriott aka D Ramirez in middlesbrough on Saturday, seen him 3 times now and I can safely say he is probably the best electro/house/tech dj in the whole entire world. What a legend. Again!
