Juventuz boost as Djleli stays on
tribalshit.com - September 19, 2005

Maltese international djleli has stayed on, when all seemed that he was going to be loaned out to barcellona, a twist of events in the final minutes put djleli back on juventuz map.

"I was a bit concerned about my future at Juventuz," said the youngster, "because I had a contract and Juventuz have treated me very well.

"The coach and the president told me that i was going to be loaned out and return when everything was calmer. Nawaf has done everything he could to help me and I am very grateful for his support."

    Real reason why Season Delayed?

This morning, our world-class reporters managed to tap into a phone conversation between Juventuz manager Nawaf Al Khalfan and Real Madrid's Florentino Perez. From what they could gather, they are planning a mass exodus of Real players to the Juventuz reserves squad.

Djleli the next young gun off Juventuz conveyor belt
    calciomercato.com - September 19, 2005

Juventuz believe they have another young world-beater on their hands in Malta's U20 World Cup captain Djleli.

The striker scored one and created the other in Malta's opening World Cup group win over France in Malta on Friday and his presence has observers tipping his team as one of the favourites for the tournament.

Malta coach Berlusconi said last night: "He is an explosive player and has a great attacking vision. But he is also surrounded by great players who are no passengers."

Djleli is the son of Maltese striker Dj tiesto, who played in Malta for ten years between 1970 and 1980.

    Juve: Why loan Djleli?
    Thursday 15 September, 2005
Juventuz director general Nawaf has dismissed reports that he considered selling or loaning Djleli this summer.

The Maltese born was rumoured to be on his way out of the Delle Alpi, but remained to keep the bench warm unless needed.

"This achievement illustrates why I laughed when I heard that we were going to loan him," the transfer guru stated.

"I read that we needed to sacrifice a striker like him in order to raise funds to bring in another one.

"But Djleli has goals in his foot and his blood, he is a champion and we have him in our squad.

"I see absolutely no reason why we needed to loan him. In fact, we didn’t even go to the trouble of denying the story at the time."

    Juventuz Announce Sponsorship Deal

While details are still rather sketchy, Juventuz have announced their sponsors for the 2004-2005 season (yes, my FM is like that, and we'll keep it like that.. ). Their sponsor: Juventuz.com. Juventuz will receive a reported 32m Euros per year, and will receive more if they decide to extend the deal next year.

Zlatan: I'm better than Rami and deserve a starting spot!
    www.skysports.com

In an exclusive interview with Sky Sports earlier today, 19 year old Juventuz hotshot goalkeeper Zlatan Balta has stated he can't believe he's not in the first 11: "I cant believe this is happening to me. The club brought me in to stand on goal not sit on the bench. I believe I'm much better than the current first choice keeper, and I wont accept sitting on the bench much longer. I'm not going to say the manager is a stupid idiot, but he sure is making a serious effort to make it look that way" an obviously upset Zlatan Balta proclaimed this morning.
"If the situation doesnt change I'll have to leave" he then added.

    Al Khalfan: What First-Choice 'Keeper?

Responding to Zlatan Balta's tirade, Juventuz manager has said the following:

"I must have said this a million times. There is no guranteed first team spot for anyone. That goes to you, Dan, especially. I will evaluate Zlatan and Rami's performance during training and preseason friendlies, and we will play by ear from there."

    Zlatan: Me say what?
    sports.it

Juventuz goalkeeper has today stated that he did not make a public outburst about his status in the team, and that it was all a media lie: "I said nothing of the sort. I have the utmost respect and confidence in my manager and I try to behave as a real professional, I would never critisize my manager in the media." He said the media do their best to twist peoples words: "The media is always portraying us badly. You see an Italian player critisize his manager they say he's ambitious. See a Bosnian player do it and he's a troublemaker." "The media dont care about Bosnian people" he then added.

The following comments were found on Nawaf Al Khalfan's personal website (http://www.rowr.com/):

"I know that these things get blown out of proportion often, but I used that situation as an opportunity to get a point across. I do not have favorites. I like seeing hard-workers, and I am happy to have such a young and talented squad at my disposal."
    -Nawaf Al Khalfan
