It is nice, we could attack more and create hell lot more chances compared to a 4-4-2. Our defending system is already considered 1 of the best in Europe, y not improve our attack instead and get more goals? Someday we will meet a team that plays like us, score a goal and defend like mad or a super attacking team. What r we going to do?
I see Chiellini as more than a Zambo back-up. Assuming we make no further signings this year and we sell Tudor, Maresca and Miccoli (which Moggi has said himself); then I see how Chiellini will be a useful weapon for us even in conjunction with Zambrotta.
For Fiorentina, Chiellini played as a left back, a wing-back and even as a left forward. He is quite versatile on that left flank and also scored some important goals. We know that Zambrotta is the best left back in the world but he can also play in midfield and can play on either flank.
Also remember that at times, Capello used Pessotto on the left side of midfield to partner Emerson. Therefore it is not inconceivable that Capello could use both Chiellini and Zambrotta in the first team.

The beauty of having Chiellini and Zambo on the left wing is that it gives us some mightly attacking power down that flank. If during the game, we are not making enough damage through the other flank, you make Chiellini in charge on the left flank while putting Zambo on the right flank to partner Camo.
Meanwhile Mutu/Del Piero are the subs for Nedved or for one of the strikers.
In conclusion, we don't really need to buy that many players if any because what a lot of people do not realize is what someone like Chiellini brings to Juventus from a tactical sense.
