I agree completelly, the best option upfront is to keep things as they are. Trez & DP the first line of attack, Palladino & Bojinov the second, with Zalayeta filling up the blanks. Pizzaro is good, he can score a lot of goals, plus he would come for free, still I don't think he's good enough to replace Trezeguet. If anyone's ideal for that part, IMO, it's Klose, Toni also but I prefer Klose.

I think Bojinov can be that, like I said before, he's not a direct replacement for Trez but he can hold his own in a box striker role or a support striker. Palladino and Bojinov could very well be our next lethal duo in the future. The key is to utilise them now and give them their fair chances, something which DD is not doing so far, at least with Bojinov.
    same here :agree:

the lesser we change in the squad the better imo.And the striking department is our most complete, so why change it and take an unnecessary risk for next season.

We might have to change it if players want out, Trez might want a new challenge, Bojinov will feel he won't have had enough chances and the same can go for Zalayeta, although he never complained so he will probably won't start now, but who knows.
That might be the reason for us to have to change the striking departement.

Zalayeta has done a lot for the club, scored very important goals against Real and Barca for example but if he wants to leave then we should let him,he deserves a starting place in a team like Chievo:)We could replace him with Volpato or Paolucci as a backup. How are they doing right now?

I want Zalayeta to leave, he has no future in Juventus. I'm grateful for all the important goals he scored for the club, and the fact that he never complains for sitting on the bench. Just like most you all, I want him to play regularly for a smaller club.

why waste a good young talent, if we have a player that doesn't matter sitting on the bench

So which formation should Deschamps use? I don't like 4-4-2 it's so normal and mostly we got 2 defensive midfielders.

I was thinking of maybe 4-3-1-2 or something with Neddy behind DP and Trez/Palla.
But maybe it's not so good since we don't have fast and creative midfielders.

    i think so too.

    -------------Del Piero--------Trezeguet------------
    -----------------------Nedved------------------------
    --------Brazzo--------------------Camo-------------
    -----------------------Gilberto?-----------------------
    Chiellini-----Barzagli?------Boumsong----Grygera
    ------------------------Buffon--------------------------

I still think we need to buy 2 starter CDs and 1 starter DM.

He's ok with a back-up role at barça
No, he is not. He's ok staying at Barca and fighting for his spot, all his years in Barcelona he has whined about that.
ok , i have to ask. why is brazzo
He was given the nickname "Braco" while he was a kid, which means "little brother" on Serbo-Croatian. Some write it "Brazzo" as that's how it would be pronounced properly, if you're reading Italian.

    ---------------------------- BUFFON ------------------------------

    --------------- BARZAGLI --------- DAINELLI -------------------

    - GRYGERA ------------------------------------- CHIELLINI -----

    -------------------- GILBERTO ------------------------------------

    ----------------------------------- NEDVED -----------------------

    CAMORANESI ----------------------------------- RIBERY --------

    --------------------------------- DEL PIERO -----------------------

    --------------------- TREZEGUET ----------------------------------

    BENCH:

    GK: MIRANTE
    CB: KOVAC
    CB: CRISCITO
    RB: ZEBINA
    LB: BALZARETTI
    DM: ZANETTI
    DM: PARO
    RM: MARCHIONNI
    SM: SALIHAMIDZIC
    SS: PALLADINO
    CF: BOJINOV
    CF: PIZARRO

I think these players give us flexibility and quality at the positions. Serie A is going to be much more grueling than B. Sounds like common sense, but I think many people are putting too much stock in how well some of the youngsters and old guys are playing in the lower division.

I would still like to see a DM signed so we could move Nedved between CM and LM more. We are going to need depth like we used to have. Nedved will be 35, DP 33, Gilberto 31, Camoranesi 31, Trezeguet 30, and Buffon 30. I am worried about the durability of DP and Nedved. That is starting to become less and less of a crazy fear.

I wouldn't mind that at all, but the cb duo could be better, I can get over Barzagli but he needs a Cannavaro beside him, I would go for Samuel with no doubts. Also Braco ahead of Grygera.

The Barzagli/Cannavaro duo would be amazing. I have Dainelli on there because he would be a good free pickup. I am not sold on Samuel. I do not like the type of style he brings to the table, however I would play anyone next to Barzagli besides the people we currently have.

Salihamidzic is more aggressive to me. Grygera would give us good defensive stability on the outside and Braco would be able to sub off the bench where he is best. Braco can play all the positions along each sideline. RB-LB-RM-LM and even a DM/CM role in a pinch. Players like that will be used exactly as he was built. He will be a great bench player and play every game in that role. That is his true value.

Behind Grygera we have Zebina and Birindelli. Grygera COULD play CB, but I like his skills better on the outside. Besides, I don't think he is good enough to play CB in this division. We could definately afford to put someone high class next to Barzagli.
