imo not sure neddy will be as influential on the left wing.

@John: Since Zambrotta is going to push up and Del Piero likes drifting towards the left Nedved doesn't have to play the role of an out-and-out left winger. He can operate like he did at Euro 2004. Starting wide and offering width when needed and moving into the centre to give way for the left back (with the Czech Rep it's Jankulovski, with Juve it's Zamboy). He did that last night against Djurgarden as well.

Neddy has eleven lungs. He certainly has the running in him to get back and help out, and even if he doesn't, we play with two defensive midfielders who will do their share of defending.

with Inzaghino and Canna we would be set for the next season IMO... I don't really know about Olivera yet...

buffon, thuram, canna, zambrotta, emo and nedved should definitely start. i;m thinking of putting zlatan and trez together upfront. zlatan is tall and has some skills too. trez is just tall. we hav pretty good wings who can cross the balls to them two....

Buffon, Thuram, Cannavaro, Zambrotta, Emerson and Nedved would be guaranteed starters in my line-up. Zebina, Olivera, and Appiah would fight with Birindelli, Camoranesi and Blasi respectively, while the attacking tandem would be rotated between Delps, Treze and Zlatan depending on form. Hopefully the competition for places will help guys such as Camo and ADP find some consistency.
