buffon
gryegra XX barzagli balzaretti

Ribery Frings Almiron Nedved/Marchionni

Huntelaar Del Piero

i think Camo will leave with Trezeguet. If Marchionni can remain fit and healthy, he'll rotate a lot with Nedved.

Ribery is very much needed in the team when Camo leaves, which is certain to happen.

Remember the 100 mio euro ? Where are they in your plans ? I know we can't spend all on players, but Juve HAS TO use money in good players. Not only to keep up the pace in serie a but also to make Juve an attractive club in the 2008 summer. I can't understand why so many is certain that Barzagli will join us. I don't min if he does but I think there is a lot of "if"-s...

Anyway.... My team goes like this:

Buffon (if he stays 50/50 milan/ juve)
Salihamidiz - Criscito/Grygera - NEW CB (Barzagli or better) - Chiellini
Camoranesi - Frings- NEW CM - Nedved
Trezeguet- NEW CF (Huntelaar or better)/Del Piero

In this way we could see 3-4 big signings. Frings -CB -CM -CF
I hope to see a Juve investing money in players and the future...

I'm curious as to how how effective a full strength 4-3-3 could work if tried. I know having a team discussed on paper doesn't mean much, but let's do it for the sake of this argument since our team is not ready yet for next season

Here is one 4-3-3:

------Grygera--New CB----New CB--Balzaretti

----Frings/Sissoko/Gilberto/Zanetti/Mavuba/Nocerino-----

----Almiron/Mavuba/Paro/Snejider-----Nedved

Camo/Ribery/Quaresma/Palladino---Trezeguet/Huntelaar/Klose/Toni---DP

which of these players in the 4-3-3 formation would you put from that list

I'll go for:
Buffon

Grygera--New CB----Chiellini--Balzaretti

Zanetti/Nocerino

Almiron------Nedved

Ribery----Trezeguet----Del Piero

I think with a 4-3-3 formation it would be necessary to play with 2 more defensive midfielders a one more attacking one. For instance Zanetti and Frings playing behind Nedved.

I think 4-3-3 is a stupid idea. It's fun to watch but very difficult to play in real life.
I really hope that Descamps will go for a 4-4-2. Specially because we are underdogs next season. A team as Barcelona can play 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 but you can't expect that Juve 07/08 will be such a strong team. We'll then need better players than mentioned above.

Let's go for the 4-4-2 - It's much easier and you'll gain more points in the end.

The following squad isn't my first choice, but the options have become few after the latest announcements of some players.

Buffon

Grygera----Dainelli----Milito-----Chiellini

Camo/Iaquinta----Zanetti---Almiron----Nedved

Trezeguet---------Del Piero

quite the conterary, he played in a wide position for italy in wc06
yea but did u ever see him dribble .. maybe a cross to someone .. hes a striker on a very wide right position, that i understand, but he doesnt create chances, just the ones to give out long balls when the defence is limited and hell score, like against ghana for example

ahmed, iaquinta is a pole striker .. he cant dribble, he cant pass, just run, shoot and score
Lippi used to field him as a wing forward or a right wing with Italy. And I know that this isn't his original position, but he can perform well as a right wing. As I said before, those aren't my choices, but this is how the team most probably would be in the next campaign, from what I hear daily.

What I'm hoping for at the moment:

Buffon

Zebina - Milito - Chiellini - Antunes

Tiago - Zanetti - Almiron

Camoranesi - Huntelaar - Del Piero

With Mavuba or Sissoko instead of Zanetti to be extremely wishful.

dont you think that alex and camo would be wasted with that formation ? I always saw camo more positive while playing as a midfielder and Alex as a forward

I actually think we will use 4-3-3 s our main formatioin next season

and now that I think about it, with Camo most likely leaving and Miccoli and Iaquinta coming, we could be seeing a 4-3-3 as our main formation:

    ------------------Buffon-----------

    --Grygera----Cb---CB---Chiellini

    --------------Mavuba/Sissoko------------

    -----------Almiron---------Nedved

    Iaquinta-------Striker--------Del Piero

    with the sub team being:

    ----------------------Mirante-------------

    Zebina-----Criscito---Boumsong-----Molinaro

    -------------------Zanetti-------------
    -----------Nocerino---Marchisio-----

    ---Miccoli------Zelayeta------Palladino--

    Zebina - Milito - Barzagli - Chiellini

Iaquinta - Huntelaar - Del Piero

Zanetti might be replaced with another better midfielder if the board were generous. Gilardino might also be instead of Huntelaar.

for me the midfield looks a bit to weak
