Kulu is best used in the final third...we unfortunately can't fit dybala morata ronaldo and kulu in the starting line up..unless we are playing absolute filth with no organisational abilities then we need to sacrifice one. We need a solid 3 in the midfield...just dont know who those 3 are right now.

So we need a good Rb, a good LB, 2 good midfielders and a Good coach(who could probably elevate the play of some of our players.

Also tactically I would keep it as a 352, no shift in defensive transitions to a 442. Keep it simpler and more compact. Sucks for Chiesa to have to track back more in that scenario, but maybe a more orthodox system can help.

I put him on the side of Mckennie so Mckennie can support him, Kulu as a 10 but really he could be a third Cm as well.

what I never understood for example is 352 to 442 transition BS...Max came in kept things how conte had for a while and transitioned slowly..Pirlo from the start with zero prep time for the season + with more matches in less time tries to do too much, won't work anywhere, not at this level. Need to go back to basics closed that defence up play counter got THE players for it..Whatever it is he will figure it out he def has the brain.

Yes it's quite simple on paper but completely not necessarily or feasible during a match making shit more complicated with zero gains.

I surprised with the statistic result of XG and Def Action metrics.

If Pirlo's would learn from Pep and Flick, it would be a great idea. Pep's change this season is refreshing.
He played with 4-3-3 but with some different function for his players. Pep also line up as 3-2-3-2 in Attacking Phase and as 4-3-3 in defensive phase

Walker will be as 3rd CB, but Zinchenko/Cancelo move as DM in attacking phase rather than overlap as fullback. But they will overload on the wing with either Silva and Mahrez on the right or Foden/KDB and Sterling on the left. Jesus/Foden and Gundogan will attack the center and this is the reason Gundogan scored quite much.
