Has anyone thought about a regista-false9 formation? Something like 4-1 4-1 with Pirlo as regista and Tevez as false9.
Pogba, Vidal and Marchisio must play at the same time. That limits a formation to 3 CMs.
Tevez and Morata must play most of the time. That limits a formation to 2 strikers.

Other then that Id be very open for new ideas..

 sadly most of my friends bandwagon Real Madrid, so I doubt they'd join us , that and the fact that they don't know how to speak english.

So what do you think is the best way to shut down Real Madrid?I say the 4-3-1-2 that we play but have the outsides of the 3 gove inside support alot. It is a bit defensive to ask that of them but I think the biggest tactical delima is what to do with Isco or James rod? I mean I love Pirlo and still think he has quality but dont think he can do the defensive work needed here. I think Marchisio would do a great job there. Pogba is the biggest factor for that very reason

Park the bus away with 5-3-2 and hope for the best or toss it around a bit with a 4-4-2 (4-1-3-2). Pirlo can regista with Marchisio for protection in the middle but with more freedom to advance forward. Vidal and Pogba "out wide", not as wide midfielders but more or less as they play in the 4-3-1-2. So instead of Pereyra as AM take on Pirlo to have a holding midfielder and then let MVP go for counters. This would allow the MVP more freedom and provide us more protection since I expect Real Madrid to be in possession regardless. AND YES I am talking about the away game, at home I would prefer a 4-3-1-2 with Pereyra instead of Pirlo. Those are my initial thoughts at least.
This is also assuming that Pogba really will be fit for the game.
Edit: I also want Pirlo on the pitch to have more players slowing down the tempo and holding on to the ball. If Pirlo doesn't do his thing then put on Pereyra and give him freedom to take on players, his dribbling would then allow us time to step up with our defense.
Regarding James and the others, I am not too worried, our MVP knows how to do this. I am more worried about Chiellini falling behind at some point.

well if bale is still out i could see them deploying a 4-4-2 so our 4-3-1-2 would be perfect to counter it or even the 3-5-2.

And yea i agree this is the one game where i could see pirlo benefiting to an extent if we play on the counter

I'd like to see us play like we played monaco, but with the same result

And in the final, with the same result as 1996

And then, i'd like to hear how we absolutely didnt deserved it and how teams loved drawing us

Now admit it and tell us that you were and still are very happy that milan won it in 2003 despite of us being much better.

i think allegri switch to 3-5-2 when we playing in madrid. i hope to see pereyra instead pirlo , he can dribble the ball better than pirlo and get more chance us for create opportunity when real attacking for score.in other hand juventus have kept a clean sheet in three of their last CL matches and real've been weak to scoring lately. i think their forward position not so power for beat us.we need to pogba but he is injured and not able to for first leg so marchisio is a good option as Offensive midfielder he has been excellent going from defense to attack.

If only Pogba was fit it's a no brainer - 4312 with Marchisio in the middle. Now we know he most probably won't be available so i'm almost sure we'll play 352. Barza and Pirlo are back - Barza is too good to bench him and at the same time 2 CB pairing of Barza - Bonucci/Chiellini is untested. Not to add Pirlo in 4312 would be a suicide. For me it looks like a 352, which i kinda hate because we look like shit while playing this formation.

The key players for Real Madrid will be Marcelo, James, Benzema, and Isco. Unless CR and Bale get service and space they are not effective, fortunately we have the best defense in Europe and absolute machines in Vidal, Pereyra, Marchisio, and Pogba (if he makes it) that shield our back 4/5 greatly.

Take Isco, James, Benzema (their link man)and watch out for Marcelo's runs and we will be able to contain them.
