Serie A has not found an answer to our 3-5-2 for 2 seasons now. There's literally not a single reason why we should switch it when you think logically.

You have to start with 3-5-2 and if suddenly it proves to not be good enough anymore, then you change. And you definitely change for Europe. But for Serie A, it does not make sense to change right now.

:agree: The question is, what formation do we deploy in Europe, and do we even have the proper players/ingredients to change it up in Europe? As it stands, we might be good enough to get out of our group, but not beyond.

Allegri -
“New tactics? At this time I insist with the defensive three, then later we will try alternatives.”

However, one new approach could be in Paul Pogba’s role in the side.

“I will try to use him more in the attack. He is one of the best youngsters in the world, with huge technical and physical qualities.

“Yet, there is also still plenty of room for improvement.”

Barza - Chiello = perfect
Caceres - Barza/Chiello = close enough, won't complain
Bonucci/Ogbonna - Barza/Chiello = expect a couple of brainfarts
Bonucci/Ogbonna - Caceres = definitely not good enough, very vulnerable
Bonucci - Ogbonna = kill me now
