Caceres as a CB in a 4 man backline isn't any better than Ogbonna or Bonucci. It's actually interesting how Caceres is being treated so much differently from them. I guess it's mainly because his movements don't look as awkward due to his physique.

He's still a pretty good RB and RCB in a 3 man backline though.

We still have to chose 2 from those 3 for the first 2 matches vs Chievo and Udinese(there is chance that Barza will be ready for this one but still).

It might make more sense to play 3-5-2 since Caceres is more comfortable as a CB in that formation and Bonucci is more comfortable as a sweeper.

Bonucci is a train wreck in a 4 man line. Not sure if Caceres is any better.

It's also a bit safer against counters which Bonucci has no chance against since he changes direction like the Titanic.

Disagree completely. Caceres to me is the third best defender on juve behind barzagli and chiellini. I wouldn't hesitate to start him over Bonucci. Caceres is ready to take that next step in his career IMO. In a 4 man backline I would have lichsteiner-barzagli-chiellini-caceres. If he cant play on the left side I would even consider him over lich

He does for Uruguay, I don't know why we never seem to use him there.

I said he's a good RB, although I rate LIchtsteiner one level above him, and a more than viable option as RCB in a three-man backline. As a CB in a 4 man backline, I's suspect him to be pretty desastrous.

He's also really not suited to playing as a sweeper imo, hence playing him instead of Bonucci wouldn't make much sense.

My ideal lineup if everyone is healthy:

4-1-2-1-2

Buffon

Lich-barzagli-chiellini-asamoah

Pirlo

Marchisio Pogba

Vidal

Morata/Llorente Tevez

Would also strongly consider starting caceres over barzagli. He's earned playing time.

Our 352 has flaws, not solely because of it being 352...but because our personel is not optimal for it. We put too much emphasis in wingers who are not game changers. They are just Ok.

We need to put more emphasis in our tricky players like Coman and Morata.

When we are put in a situation we need to really score.... its an uphill battle. This juve cannot cope with receiving goals and being trailing in the second half...when half the team is done running and have no idea what to do to break defenses.

Not quite sure what you are basing that on.

Im basing that taking in considerations our CL games, which are much tougher than our typical serie A game. We struggle to score, we suddenly are trailing in the 2nd half.. GG. Unable to score because of numerous reasons.
Like i said... i feel we put too much emphasis in our play goign thru Lichteiner. Yesterday he had like 3 man aorund him erytime...he was able to put like one cross in all game.

Its no coincidence we had like 0 shots on goal.

We all know that not receiving goals in CL is not easy, but we cant score for shid against a team with similar level to us and is worrysome.

I take it you are deciding Allegri's Juve is exactly the same as Conte's Juve, then?

There hasn't been enough evidence of what you are claiming under Allegri to try and draw a reasonable conclusion.

I like the 3-5-2 but I think it needs more offensive creativity from the wingbacks, especially since we're playing without an offensive midfielder in the middle. I hope we can splash some good money on Cuadrado next summer.
