I think thats the whole point. There is no player we can bring on that helps transform the way we play. If we had an attacking winger we would have a different tactical style to use in different situations. The 352 is not a bad system but the subs we have for it are just lesser versions of the exact same players - this is most obviously the case for the wing backs. Padoin, Peluso, Isla etc don't offer much on the flanks.
The squad is way too stacked in central defenders and central mids. Not many penetrating attacking midfielders.
The formation itself is a number 352, 433, 4231 etc. The point is I feel that we lack a quality attacking midfielder period. Someone who can add a different dimension to our play.
