Who would you pair the regista with? Will you bench Marchisio?
I would have no problem playing

Krasic-D'Ago-Marchisio-Pepe

People expect Marchisio to be something else, but really he's more of a defensive midfielder than anything else. Only unlike Sissoko or Melo, he's not retarded.

Why is D'agostino still being named lineups as if he is a possibility?
    D'Agostino/Gago/Aquilani anyone....

The thing is these are good players who add to our game but we are stuck with Melo and Momo who would not want to sit on the bench.

I think we should do some variations but as long as Sissoko and Grosso does not touch the ball, I am fine.

4-3-3 won't happen with Del Neri, also, I'd rather have Diego on the pitch than Melo. And I think Aquilani and Marchisio will be fighting for one of the spots while the other will be between Melo and Sissoko.

Diego is a must IMO and he's missing in the first one.

    I love 4-3-3 though

4-3-3 and Diego do not work and with Aquilani and Krasic, Diego is not really a must as the team would have a different shape.

I know that Del Neri would field the 4-4-2 but with the arrival of Aquilani the team looks like it can play 4-3-3 or the ugly 4-3-1-2 with Diego playing again.

I don't like the fact that one of Melo or Momo should play, it shouldn't be like that Melo/Momo with Aquilani/Marchisio, a better solution must be found.

Actually, come to think of it, it now looks like Giovinco should have stayed instead of Diego.

And one more thing, any formation would do if there is harmony in the squad. If it is true what was said that yesterday the players were shouting at each other when playing set pieces, then even a team with the best players in every position would fail without harmony.

It depends how serious it was. The players showing a bit of passion is a good thing as long as it doesn't go too far.

I worry about the contribution Marchisio's defensive game gives to the team if he's partnering Aquilani. I think it's well worth trying them out together though.

I would like it to happen and the only way to cover the defence in that case is possession football.

Like I said, I really wouldn't worry about one incident. If it happens again and the players' form suffers, then that's different.
And my argument wasn't only about that particular incident, I mentioned it as an example and as you said, if repeated, it might disturb the harmony.

I don't think we have the right players for 4-3-3...our defense would show too many weaknesses and plus, Krasic is not supposed to play that deep. For that formation I'd prefer some other wingers like Sanchez, with a different style and who cut in more often.

With Krasic and Pepe here we should rely on wingers in somewhat more attacking 4-4-2 and play more dynamic. They'll do a lot of running and make things easier for Diego who seems great on his current position. With Marchisio/Melo and Aquialni behind it will also be easier to pass the ball and make our game faster.

    Left back worries me.
